We keep testing other baby bibs, but nothing comes close to Bumkins! These cloth bibs are amazing: soft and lightweight to wear, yet practically indestructible. They provide great coverage (they're even waterproof). Unlike others, they resist stains, won't fade, and don't hold onto odors. Machine wash. Made in USA. Read More

At first I liked these, they ARE lightweight (see my other reviews) and they ARE easy to fold up and tuck in diaper bag...BUT as my daughter grew from jar food (age 1-1/2) to REAL FOOD (age 2++) they started to get SOAKED and would LEAK ONTO HER CLOTHING UNDERNEATH!!! Esp w/any RED tomato sauce or WET yogurt-her clths under would be stained red or damp...YUCK@! Whats the point?? PLUS I feed my daughter like 5 + times a day (inc snacks) so who ONLY WASHES THESE W/ A WIPE CLTH OR SPONGE? I ended up rinsing under water after ea use, and these bibs would get MOLDY!!!!!!!!! MILDEWY!!!!!! I would MACHINE WASH, nothing, I would SOAK IN BLEACH, nothing! MILDEW-YUCKO!!!(I would only recommend for bottle feeding and early solids where you are feeding them , when THEY ARE FEEDING THEMSLEVES and MESSy-these DO NOT WORK-get the heavy rubbery ones that OSA sells)
My cutie (before the bib got too mildewy to wear=)

I have 3 children and went through many bibs with the first 2 yrs ago. My 3rd came along and with in 6 mths of using reg store type bibs I already went through 6 bibs.. Bought these and I have not had to buy any more. I am now buying some for a shower gift..
Protects clothes from getting dirty.. Not the face

We have tried many, many, many types of bibs and these are the best. They are large enough, have the pocket to catch dropped food, resist stains, wash easily and are water resistant. Both my 2 1/2 yr old and 1 yr old like the colors/patterns. We wish that we had discovered them sooner! Only negative is that if they yank hard they can get them off.
This bib is the best -- easy to clean; very quick to wash and dry. Covers a large area. Pocket collects dropped food. Designs and colors are very attractive, too.
love these bibs! good protection, very lightweight, easy to clean and dry quickly
comes in pretty patterns and i love that the bib has a pocket at the bottom to catch spills and other lovely food items that seem to make its way into the pocket. So easy to clean so I like to use it on the go as I can just use a napkin with water to clean it. Water does not soak through.
I was given a Bumkin bib 15 months ago and it was the primary bib used on my child until it become so disgustingly dirty that I had to order more. The point is that, this is all I use. Other bibs which I tried were a waste of time & money spent. I would only use & recommend this brand of bibs. A set of 3 bibs will probably last most of the childhood period which requires bib-use.
I always have one of these bibs in our diaper bag and I've replaced all our other gross and bulky bibs with these. I give them as gifts to all my friends. They are very easy to clean off, maintain their stylish look (after multiple washings) and after a dinner of spaghetti it's so easy just to throw in the washing machine. I highly recommend!
These bibs are great for my messy eater. The pocket catches all the crumbs and the washing machine does the rest.
I finally found a high quality bib that will last and last!
Buy a pack of these and that is ALL you will ever have to buy. They are expensive up front, but they save you a TON in the long term.
I love these bibs. So easy to clean and they don't get smelly if I just rinse and air dry. And they dry really quick. Hold up in the wash great. No staining and hold thier shape great. The velcro on these are the only ones that stay on with my son pulling on it.He's 2 now, so I have now started to buy the same brand Bumpkin bibs that have short sleeves and are a bit longer.[...]
I used to use the rubber kind, and that definitely catches food better than this kind, but my baby could hardly use her arms since the rubber bib was always in her way. My baby started to resist wearing it before meals. Therefore I got this kind to try it out, and I really like them. My baby at first was still going to whine while putting on her the first time, then she realized that it wasn't in her way while she was swinging her arms around and using both of her hands to eat, and she never made a fuss ever since.I wash it every time after my baby's meal because the food may get stuck on the bib if I waited a couple more meals after, and I dry it either on the towel hanger in the bathroom/ laundry room or just on the dish rack. It's almost always dry by the next meal, so the material dries up quickly. Also, you need to make sure it dries out before you put it away, because it may have the dirty-rag stink after awhile. For the reason that I need to wash and dry it right after each meal, I don't use it outside of the house.
