I have bought many products from One Step Ahead in the past and have been satisfied with them all. We are also a very assemble-savvy family - my husband and I usually have no trouble assembling all kinds of products. This product, however, disappointed and angered me so much that I had to warn others. The design and idea is a good one - rocker to booster, folds up to take to restaurants and for travel. Too bad the engineers didn't take a few things into account.

Here are issues I encountered:
- small metal push knobs for connecting the pieces are a very very bad idea. Hurts the fingers and they're meant to lock in, which means that disassembling the product is near impossible. I'm still trying to get a piece out of the tube in order to return this thing

- when designing it, I think they forgot to take into account they'd be painting the metal, which then makes sliding the tubes in to lock and disassemble again that much more difficult. We had trouble just getting the tubes to lock together as they should

- shoddy "grips". The plastic that locks into the tube that then holds the metal threaded adjusting mechanism kept falling out. We lost a lot of trust on the product actually staying on the table when the locking mechanism wouldn't even stay in the tube connected to the product!

With a newer way to "lock" the pieces together and take apart, this product could be successful, but for now, I say FAIL.

I like this portable dinner seat except that the angle it sits baby makes them slump forward. I have to put a pillow in the back to keep her sitting upright because the butt sticks out too far. Other than that I love it. It is a good travel chair for at friends houses and anywhere you can think of.

Easy to assemble, but after it was all put together, we realized one of the springs or clamps was broken. Even though we can't use it for the high chair option, we kept it to use elsewhere.

I was so disappointed in this compared to my other one from OSA. My other one, I flip down the clamps and fold it up and carry it out of the restaurant. This one needs to be completely disassembled. Its probably great if you want to assemble it and leave it somewhere. I didn't use the rocker part of it for long because my son used his feet to scoot away from me in.

The buttons to push to disassemble it are hard to push and sometimes hurt your fingers. Sometimes, I wish I had a 3rd arm to assist in taking it apart too.

On the plus side, the one time I did use it, it clamped to the table and seemed really sturdy and it is easy to clean with a damp cloth. I might use it for them when they get a little older as a booster seat at our dinner table.

Very stable both on the table and as a rocker. A bit difficult to disassemble, however. Spring buttons don't push easily past the holes without using a metal object, like a flat key. Otherwise, attaches to most tables in restaurants, and is very stable on the floor.

Bought this chair to use in restaurants. It is very poor quality and will not hold a child very well. It is hard to assempble and fold down for after use. After two uses we threw it away.

I bought this item to bring to other homes for the rocker and to use eating out. I thought it would be great to leave in the car and use for either occasion. However, It is hard to assemble and really hurt my fingers pushing in the buttons used to hold the pieces together. The rocker part did not fit into the storage bag well which made the bag bulky. I returned it because it would be too hard and inconvenient to put together easily in a restaurant or a friend's home.

This seat was a great idea in theory. It would be great to use when out or at home. However, if the table is thick or has any lip on it, the seat will not secure.

The metal button/locks were close to impossible to push in for disassembling. It took two of us to disassemble it, one to push in the metal buttons (had to use padding on our fingers to do this) and the other pulling it apart.

This was difficult to assemble...and awful to disassemble...it's a definite return item.

I really like these chairs. Very helpful to keep my girls safe so I can deal one at a time. Great to travel with, compact and light. 5 point harness holds the girls in. The buckle broke on one in the first week, we sent back hassle-free and was replaced immediately.

I returned this item b/c the side material slides down the arms of the chair. The child ends up hanging like in a sack.

I use this product for travel purposes my son is under weight restiction 23lbs. It does not rock and chair height is too low, his head/ neck is higher than that. Son is one year and when he does not want to be in the chair he is able to stand with the seat attached.
Only recommend for babies that do not walk.

I bought this to take on an international vacation and thought it would be good for traveling around to see family & friends. I loved the idea. I got it out and assembled it (didn't take that long, but if I was holding my son in one arm it would not have happened!)... then, it would not attach to my table...I have a lip and it would not clear it. When I tried to dismantle it to return it, it took way too long and physically hurt my fingers and hand because the pins are very difficult to push in...if my son were ready to leave a restaurant and I was still fiddling to get this into a bag, it would have been a very trying moment! I bought a travel booster seat instead (it is much bulkier, but lighter weight and will fit anywhere).
