We thought this would be great so that she could play and snack on long trips. It is hard to keep upright and is not that flat or sturdy of a surface.

Great idea, but it's too flimsy. I can't imagine balancing a drink on this like the little girl in the photo. I also thought it might be nice to take a long play ride so my toddler could have her own 'tray' to eat and play on, but it's too bulky to pack. Maybe this would be better when she is older (she is 18 months now).

I use the tray with both my kids 1 1/2 and a 3 1/2 year old. The tray is not sturdy and it does not hold a drink or food items.

This is very flimsy but I guess for car safety thats good, just not solid enough in my opinion to use to color on or put a sippy cup on. Looks more solid in the picture. But like I said it wouldnt be safe to have something that would hiurt your child in the event of an accident. Maybe it will work better when my daughter is older. I'll keep it to see.

I purchased this so my toddler would be able to draw, have a snack, and play with toys on an airplane ride to Hawaii while she was sitting in her carseat. I have the Britax Boulevard and it just did not work with it. The tray needs suppport from the sides of the car or booster seat in order to lay flat, staight, and be sturdy. The Britax Boulevard has very low sides. Because of this, the tray was very flimsy and slanted away so much from my daugher that it was unsusable and uncomfortable for her and collapsed any time something was placed on it. Its a great idea and if I had another carseat I would probably use it all the time. But, now its just sitting in the garage with all of the other toys and kid gadgets that didn't pan out. If you have another brand car or booster seat it might work great for you. I imagine when we move her up to a booster seat it will be more useful, but that will be very far in the future because she is only 2.

I just bought this for a family vacaction we are taking. My son couldn't wait to use it, he sits at the dinner table and I attach it around him and the chair and he plays with his cars and draws on it. When my second son is old enough to use it we will buy another one, it's a great product!

My son loved it!! it was very easy for him to get it when he need it, and easy for him to remove it. Although is a little flemsy, is good enough for them to color, play or have a snack. It was a great buy, and kept my son entratained for the whole trip!!

I had purchased one of these lap tables for my oldest daughter and decided it was time to purchse one for my 11 month old too. I love this table. It's safe and it allows my daughter to eat and color while going down the road. It is somewhat flimsy, but if it were hard it wouldn't be as safe. I love that it latches on either side, so when you want to take it off you can reach it from both sides of the car seat and just undo one of the latches and swing it out. That makes it easy to put it back on, too. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is a bit difficult to clean well. I use a peroxide mix to get the bacteria off it from her food, but sometimes it's quite difficult to clean. I'm not really sure what could be done about it, after all it is fabric. But it's durable and extremely well made, so if this one does get to looking too tattered and stained then I will most likely purchase yet another one.

This product does not work with carseats that have arm rest. It's suppose to strap around but it sits up high.

I bought 2 of these for my children, for a 6 hour trip to Maine, and was utterly disappointed with them; something that I have never said about a one step ahead product before. The soft table held nothing, it did not sit flat and both of my children quickly became frustrated with them. Not a good situation on a long road trip.

This did the job for us for our 4 year old girl and 2 year old boy. We have a large Tahoe and the set up was easy enough. Definitely go behind the carseat and not the child! What was hard was when they were done drawing or playing cars, etc, I had to flip it out of the way and when they wanted it again I'd have to find the straps all over again and try to get it adjusted properly again. It does need careful adjustment. If it's not close enough to them then the toys and crayons etc will just roll toward them and off the tray into their lap. My son, the 2 year old, it didn't fit that great but it fit perfect for my 4 year old girl. I just had to give her a hard cover book to put her papers on for drawing as it's too soft to color well on with crayons. markers are fine. I also had to put blankets under the tray at times when i couldn't get the adjustment just right. We drove from Illinois to Myrtle Beach SC so it was a real help with meals and keeping them occupied on such a long trip. I would recommend it, just be prepared to work with it a bit to get it just right. I like that it's soft so if there were an accident it would be safe. I would not use this on a daily basis, just too much of a pain.

My 20 month old son loves having toys and snacks at his fingertips now. The only difficulty is putting it around him once he is strapped in his seat. However, the convience is great, and it's safe to use.
