I've got this toy last year for christmas for my boys, they love it!! but, two of the letters broke a month later I wish i had my receipt so now the toy just stop working for no reason....
so now i was looking to buy another one but i'm not so sure i'm a bit disapointed with the product...

The letters are incredibly hard to get out and the suction cups, holding the unit to the wall, release far too easily. Also, after trying to get the unit to stay on the wall, the suction cups broke and the unit had to be thrown away.

The concept is great but once the letters are clicked into the belt, they're impossible to get out, especially when your hands are wet from the water in the tub. My six year old even needs help getting them out and I have to use two hands! They really haven't been able to play with it properly because we're stopping every 30 seconds so that I can help them change the letter out.

The concept behind this toy is great and it could provide lots of fun and teachable moments with your child; however, the unit is not made well :( and the letters are difficult for a toddler to put into the "tummy." I purchased this for my grandson and after about half a dozen uses the unit started talking in the middle of the night when it was "turned off." We took the batteries out to get it to stop and when I put the batteries back in to use it with my grandson, it wouldn't work at all! [...]

My daughter is 2 and she loves it. She really is learning what the letters look like and also how they sound. Problems: One of the suction cups has already broke and it is too hard for her to take out the letters. She loves to put the letters in but cannot get them out.

I purchased this for my daughter, thinking it would be a good toy in the tub. The letters are VERY difficult to put in and pull out. I as an adult male have difficulties with it. The suction of the letters and the device only stay stuck for about 60 secs, until they fall into the tub. This is not something you want to happen with an electronic device. My daughter became very frustrated with this and we don't use it. It was a waste of money...please don't buy.

We have fridge phonics and my 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 year old LOVE it and really learn a lot with it (I highly recommend Leap Frog's DVD "Letter Factory" to go with it). I bought this as it was on sale and I thought they would get a kick out of having one in the tub. Well the letters are so hard to get out of the unit that they try and stand up to yank them out which causes them to either fall or the unit pulls off of the wall and almost hits one of them. Very dangerous. I have a hard time getting the letters out myself. I would not recommend this at all. I would have returned it but the boys ripped the box to get it out..

This is a neat concept and my kids have the fridge phonics, they love to play in the bath so I thought this would be a great addition. However, the suction cups come off of the letters easily and are impossible to get back on again. It's also pretty bulky because of all the letters and takes up space. I've had to create my own holder to hold all the letters instead of putting them all over the wall in the bath. The suction cups are choke hazards for my 16month old since they 'break' off the letters so easily when pulled on.

I first had to return it for a replacement it because the letters were already chipped when it arrived. I'm not returning it for a refund because the suction completely broke off the first time i tried to mount it on the bathroom wall. I wish I'd paid more attention to the other reviews that said that this toy breaks easily, because I've had 2 break before my daughter every got to use it!

I bought this toy for my son who has autism. He loves noisy type toys and carries them everywhere with him. Unfortunately, we have never been able to find a tub toy that he liked because I have never seen a tub toy that had buttons he could push or a toy that talked to him in the tub. This toy fit his needs wonderfully and he now asks to take baths so that he can play with this toy. We love this toy!
