Jr. Fire Fighter Suit Costume

I purchased this for my son for Halloween. I was a little unsure b/c it was rather expensive but I knew I could return to Leaps and Bounds if I didn't like the quality. However there were no such worries once we received it. He LOVED it and wore the jacket for a few days beforehand as a fall jacket. My daughter kept trying to wear it as well because this really looks like a real fireman's outfit. We got so many compliments. The reflective stripes were great for trick or treating and he was able to layer under the overalls so it was even warmer. Some reviews I read said this ran small so I ordered the 4-6 for my size 3 son. But, it does NOT run big! It's really true to size - it totally fit my size 5 daughter with room to spare. For my son I was able to turn and cuff the pants and the sleeves but we had to leave the jacket unzipped and the bottom clasp undone so he could climb stairs! I know he'll wear this costume again in a year or two for a party or dress up and it'll still look just as great.

My three year old is crazy about the costume. And so are we! Personalization is great too. Such nice details - leather collar, solid buckles, thumb loops in the sleeves!!

Loved the costume as did my 4 year old son. Only problem was the mispelling of "captain" by ther embroidering department. The order was correct, but not final product. Unfortunately, they did not have his size when it arrived (2 weeks before Halloween). Company offered us the money back from personalization but no fixes.

We love the Firefighter suit! My son wants to wear it all the time and he can because it is easy to care for. I have already washed it twice. I especially like the reflective stitching and authenticity of the outfit. I will definitely purchase next year's costume from One Step Ahead!!

This suit looks just like the real thing. My 4 year old loves it and we received so many compliments about it. Just love it!!

halloween gift for 2.5 year old.

My son who is almost 3 and obsessed with fire trucks, fire stations and fire-fighters adores this outfit. He wears it almost every day.

We just received the costumes. My boys absolutely love them! I had to hide them until Halloween. The quality is superior to other costumes. The embroidery gives them a unique touch that other costumes don't have. They were well worth the money. I plan on getting future costumes from the same company. [...]

Really cute. My husband is a firefighter so my son was so excited to get gear like Daddy. I got the personalization and he loved the fact that his name was on it.

Like other reviews have stated, this costume is SO authentic! It is well worth the money spent on it. We bought this for my 2 year old to wear for Halloween, but I know he will be able to wear it for more than just trick-or-treating. The fabric is good quality - not cheaply made; and the hat is very sturdy with an adjustable strap. I definitely plan on using this again when my 8 month old gets big enough to fit in it! You won't regret purchasing this costume!

This was purchased for Halloween and daily dress up. He loves it and doesn't want to take it off! Definitely better than any other fire fighter costume I've seen!
