Comments about 2 Virtues Blankeaze:
I bought this for my 8 month old son once he started climbing around and standing in his crib, so unable to keep a blanket on! Rather than heating the house I got this to keep him warm! I had to exchange it after 2 weeks however because the elastic on one leg came unattached. Great customer service at One Step Ahead!
I bought 2 pairs of blankeaze when my daughter was 6 months old and we were heading into the winter season. I loved them sooo much I came back a year later and bought 2 more in her new size. They are soo easy to put on and ensure me a good night sleep knowing she is warm and cozy and not worrying about her blanket falling off now that she is older and can have a blanket in her crib. I suggest ALL parents buy this for your child to sleep at night!!!!
I am very happy with this product. My 16-month-old daughter gets very exciting to put it on, and she looks adorable in it. Plus it's comfy and I like the simple pattern and light pink color. We had been using a sleepsack, but as she got older, she really needed something that had "legs" so she could walk around. This helps since the sleepsack had to be the last thing on before bed and the first thing off in the morning. Now we settle in first, then read, etc.
This is the second winter that we'll be using the blankeaze for our now 2 yr old daughter. We love it because it keeps her so warm. We have tried to introduce her to the concept of sleeping underneath something, now that she's older, but she is adament: "no blankie no blankie!" (a fun bonus of the 'don't let babies have anything in the crib' concept.) So we can't even call this a blankeaze, we renamed it "jammie wammies". Whoever invented this is a genius.
My active 18-month-old was going crazy in those sack-style wearable blankets, so I was excited to find one with legs. This product is great! It's warm, she can move in it, and she can even wear it around the house right after she wakes up. An ingenious idea and a quality product. I would buy big, they run a little small in length.
We purchased our first blankeaze last winter when my son was 6 months old and started pulling up in his crib. I wanted a product that would keep him warm but not pose a fall risk due to tripping over the extra fabric that regular sleep sacks have. We adored this. I must have told at least 20 friends how much I loved our blankeaze. We never had any trouble with the seams, and we probably used this about 5 nights out of 7 per week. We live in the south, and it was perfect when layered with a knit footed sleeper (we like the stretchies from children's place).Fast forward another year, and while our son is now quite steady on his feet, he's not stationary enough to remain under a blanket while sleeping. So, we got our second blankeaze in the mail. Again, we love it. We've been using for about 2 weeks now, off and on, when the weather is cold enough to warrant it. I'm sorry that others have had trouble with the seams, but we have not experienced that problem and can't say enough good about the product.
I purchased this product for my 15 month old daughter now that the weather is getting colder. It fits nicely over her fitted cotton PJs. It is a great way to know she stays warm without having to worry about blankets in the crib. The only negative is the zipper. I wish it had a snapped fabric tab at the top to keep the zipper pull tucked safely away from her neck.
we use this product as a step up from the sleep sacks that kept my son warm at bedtime. he's 21 months old and a (long) while ago he was starting to stand up and walk in his sleep sack and would fall over, so the legs in blankeaze were a great idea. it's warm and cozy on the inside and outside, and i put socks on him for sleeping to keep his feet warm. now he can squirm all over his crib and stand up in the bed and still have an extra layer. he just seems to sleep better when he has a 'cover' over him, so this fits the bill.the only issue i have with this is the zipper in the back and the way it closes around the neck. it is flimsy plastic and sewn in to be exposed to the back of my son's neck when it is zipped all the way up. he claws at it from time to time, and when he rolls onto his back, the zipper pull sometimes stands up and pokes him in the neck, which makes him rouse (boo). i really don't like this and have tried to figure out how to cut the zipper down a little lower, so it doesn't go so high to the back of the neck, and also how to cover the zipper pull on the inside and outside (like the sleep-sacks do) so that it is just soft fabric against his skin. other than that, we are happy there's an alternative to the sleep sack for our very busy sleeper.
We keep our house pretty cool at night, so we put these on over our son's pajamas. They keep him plenty warm, and he can't kick them off like he does his blankets.
My six month old twins are so active at night that the wearable sleep sacks were tangling around them. The blankeaze with legs are wonderful. They can kick, twist, and turn without getting tangled in their wearable blanket.
This is an awesome product! I used sacks before without openings for the legs and really like them, but since my baby is beginning to stand up, I choose this blankeaze for her and it's great! very cute, nice to the touch, very well made, and because of how is made, my baby doesn't trip on it. My baby loves it! I put her on her pajamas and then put her on this great sack and she sleeps warm and cozy at night with it,the only con is that it doesn't has buttons or a zipper on the legs which is a real problem when it comes to changing diapers at night, since I have to take it off to be able to do it. Even with this big con, I believe is a great product and will buy it again if she outgrow it this winter.
This is a nice product. I was looking for a way to keep my year old twins warm without adding a blanket to their crib just yet. This fits the bill perfectly. Soft and cozy. Perfect for winter sleeping
I really needed this for our cold house and I searched everywhere for the best option and seeing as my little girl is starting to walk it really helped to have the leg opening.
I like the blankeze, my son is roller and never keeps a blanket on, so this comes in very handy. Plus he gets out of his bed at night, so the legs make it easy for him to do this without getting hurt. I just wished the zipper was alittle longer.
My son uses this product to sleep at night and he sleeps quite comfortably. The legs allow him to play and walk around when he wakes up in the morning.
