This prodcuct works great and is alot cheaper than the other tool i saw on here to look for ear infections. Prior to buying i saw that some users had trouble with the covers staying on. If you remover the cover that came on it, they all fit wonderful and you don't have to hold the cover on while looking in your childs ear or throat. Overall i think it is a great product to check out your child before rushing to the doctors!

I was very disappointed in this product. It IS cheap and it looks CHEAP! Online it looks great and looks like it would work great, but I was surprised to find that when I opened up the package after recieving it and put brand new batteries in it, the light would not come on, so I opened a brand new pack of batteries and put in 2 different batteries, and still the light would not come on! Also, the pieces that go on the end in order to see in the child's ear do not snap on correctly. I contacted onestepahead and they are sending me a new one, I hope that the new one works properly or I will be calling the manufacturer and complaining.

I already had one of these and I wore it out! I use it that often. For the price it is worth having in the house even to look for foriegn objects. Found a playmobil pirate coin in my 6 yr olds ear!! I think its WONDERFUL!!! Just discovered my other one broke and are buying a new one already!

Difficult to see through in comparison to other audiscopes i have used. funnel shaped attachments do not snap on to device; you have to hold unit with 2 hands to succesfully use.

This product is great to see if your child has red ears before taking them to the doctor. It stops unneeded visits to the doctor if you suspect your child has an ear infection. However the ear attachment pieces don't stay in very good if you have your baby laying down to look in their ears. Overall a great product!

I use this product with my 6 month old and 2 year old. I find it is a very good product to have with kids. The only problem i've had is the ear pieces do not stay in place and fall out during the exam, but overall it's a wonderful product.

After reading mixed reviews on this product, I took my chances and purchased it anyway. I don't regret it. The reviews were true, the attachments don't fit snugly (it's a little bizzare how they passed Q.C. if they didn't fit correctly), but overall, for the [$]or whatever I paid, it was worth it. My daughter rarely shows symptoms of ear infections until her head could be falling off the next day. :oP So my little investment to take a peek and see normal white/pink or crazy red was a wise choice on my end. The reviews saying you can't see anything and it's hard to tell what you're looking at, I work in a medical office and have had the opportunity of seeing little ears through the high priced pediatric scopes. If you don't know the anatomy of an ear (as I don't, unless it's explained step by step what I'm looking at) then no matter what the cost, it's not going to make a difference to an untrained eye. For what it's worth, if you don't mind the silly mis-fitting cone-things, it's worth possibly warding off $100 office visit..

I was able to see in my son's ear once he stopped fidgetting. Don't expect to do a quick job like the doctor's do. I saw that one of his ears was fine but the other had a bright red ball inside. I took him to the doctor who said it was wax and also said his ears were fine. He told me what to look for and now I feel better about using it. This product is good but the attachment fell of in my son's ear. Overall I am glad that I bought it I just have to tape the attachment on somehow.

This product looks great and looks sturdy online but I was shocked when I got the item and it looked like a child's toy and feels like it could fall apart at any moment. It is usable though, but in comparison to others I am not sure this would rate well. Wish it included an attachable mirror/tongue depressor combo.

I think the product is pretty good,you can see into the ear clearly and although some of the attachments don't fit snug it was still worth the money.

So far i use orimarily for ears: this allows my to see if person's irrictibility has to do with ear infection or what and from what i can see i can tell if i need to begin ear infection treatments or just get some gunk out of there. I am greatful normal people can get a tool like this.. not just doctors.

My 1 year old is a little to squirmy right now for me to get a good look in his ear. When I have been able to catch a glimpse, I can see perfectly. I purchased this just for some self-assurance when he has ear infections. I don't want to be "that Mommy" that goes to the doctor just because he sneezed once!

Overall great product and it does the job. You can peek into your childs ear and see what's going on, however the tip used to look into the ear does not stay attached. It's like it's too small.
