We had this Halloween costume for my daughter and then my son used it when he could fit into it. I can NOT tell you how many people told me that they thought it was one of the most adorable costumes they had ever seen. I think the cutest part of the turtle are the eyes. I love how they sit on top of the head.
The only thing that was a real pain were the mittens. My son and daughter would not keep them on because they kept coming off. I really did not matter because it was still very cute!

This costume is so cute. My husband and I loved it as well as many other people who gave us compliments. This is a great product. My son was the best dressed!!!!! Also great for taking photos.

This costume was really cute and look comfortable. The hands were big and my son would not keep them on, but otherwise it fit pretty good. He is 18 months and I got the recommended size.

The outfit was quite adorable, but my son just turned two years old and there is no possible way that a three nor four year old could fit in it. It was extemely too small in the inseam area between the legs and the shoulder. It was litterally pulling his shouldersdown because it was so small.

I like the costume because it is very appropriate to my son which is 10 mos old, because he is crawling fast already. WHen he crawls he really looks like a turtle and he is so cute!!!In fact,he won the cutest in his age-group during the halloween costume contest.
I just let him crawl with that costume because his arms and legs are covered so they are protected from scratching , and most especicially from cold weather.

My 9-month-old son wore the size large for Halloween. I saw the helpful reviews saying how small it runs so I was on the safe side with the large because he is a big boy, and it was a little long, but otherwise perfect and he was absolutely adorable! I was pretty appalled at the low quality of the costumes at Halloween stores for the money, so I would definitely shop here again. It was soft, snuggly and he loved it!

My son is crawling so the turtle suited him! He was a hit everywhere we went. I do agree with the others that the sizes run small so keep that in mind. The material was slippery on solid flooring. The construction was fine, especially for the price. If it was any more durable it would be too hot to wear.

This is just the cutest costume! Our little man looked great and had lots of comments about how cute he was. The only issue was that the shell is quite cumbersome and he couldn't roll from his stomach to his back. Not a huge problem because we carried him most of the time.

I bought this costume because the other reviews were fairly positive. When I first received the costume, I was concerned that the colors did not look like the pictures I had seen online, but once we put it on my son it looked great. The fit was a little strange, though. My son is 13 months, and fits about 18 months in clothes (he weighs 24 lbs), so I bought the large size. The body area fit ok, but it was kind of tight-looking in the crotch, and the arms an legs were a little long. My son is in the 50th perc. for height, and about 70th for weight, so of course that could have something to do with the strange fit, however, I have never had that problem with clothes before so I assume the costume is a strange cut. The headpiece is also way, way too large. It fit my husbands head!! Overall, it was a nice costume, and I'm glad we got it. He looked adorable and we received may compliments.

This was for my 18 month son, who usually wears 24 month clothing. We got the largest they had and he barely fit into the body. We had to rip the top seam a bit so it would be long enough. The hat, however, was too large for his head (and he has a big head!). It ended up working, though.

The costume is very cute for a baby who is still crawling. My son is 10 months old and he looked adorable. He's about 21 lbs so we bought the smallest size and it fit him well with a little extra room. I didn't find the head piece to be unusually large like some reviewers, but maybe my son has a big head?! The material is polyester so if you're out in the cold, then something should be worn underneath. I thought the product was great and the price even better.

So glad I bought this costume. I read all the reviews a few times & saw that people were disappointed with the sizing in the torso. My husband and I measured our 15 month old son and found him to be in the height rage for a large even though the age & weight range was a size smaller. Our son is long in the torso for his age so we figured we would have to choose a size based off of height instead of age/weight. I would highly recommend measuring your child & going by the height rather than the age/weight range. I was a little concerned that the costume would be way too bulky because we went with the larger size, but it wasn't bulky at all. It's easy to put on - just like getting dressed. The front secures closed with 2 velcro pieces. The feet area have 2 elastic straps to fit over shoes which works great for the walking turtle. The head piece was slightly bigger than what we would have liked, but it did not interfere with my son's vision. We did attach some safety pins from the bottom of the head piece to the neck of the turtle costume itself to help keep the head piece in the right spot & it worked perfectly. We kept a onsie on our son underneath the costume for warmth which worked perfect. People in other reviews also mentioned not being able to secure their child into their car seat with the costume on. This is true because shell is much too big & it wouldn't be safe. That being said, since it is so easy to slip on, we just lowered the costume to his feet, put him in his seat & then pulled it back up over his shoulders. So simple!
Overall we are stoked about this costume, would highly recommend it, and are so glad we bought it.
