I used this product when flying across the country. Unfortunately when I set it up, the little plastic handle that the tether on the car seat was supposed to clip to snapped off.

I can't remember how I adjusted around it, but once I figured out a way around the flaw, it worked really well. The only downside I saw was that it's hard to take the car seat off quickly, but this also means that the sucker is really on there.

I'd buy it again but I wish they could make that one part more sturdy.

We have two and love them. Our first was purchased three years ago when our son was a newborn and the second just a few weeks ago to use on our infant daughter's car seat. We fly at least twice a year with our children, and this is an absolutely wonderful invention. We just pop them on the car seats, strap the kids in, and roll through the airport. They are safe and secure, and since it works like a stroller, we can gate check them as strollers, and have our nice car seats with us instead of risking a rental car seat. Important to note: keep the wheels attached and ask that they hand scan your car seats at the security line - use the line for wheelchairs - this way you won't have to detach wheels in addition to juggling kids, shoes, laptops, dvd players, etc. We get comments everywhere we go from random people in the airport to airline personnel who think they're great! Thanks for such an awesome product!

This is quite possibly the simplest, most brilliant invention for anyone who travels anywhere. I honestly do not know what we would have done on our European adventure without it! It is VERY EASY to use!!!

I bought this before traveling with my two children alone for the first time. Worked great since we had to take one car seat on the plane and check one. Can be a little hard to adjust, but very durable once in place. Easy to stow on planes. Would highly recommend.

My mother-in-law surprised us with the Travelmate. After reading the cons about the Travelmate, being a first time father and traveling by air the first time, I decided to put the Travelmate together (which was not difficult) and attached the carseat several times prior to our trip. The day of the trip went very smoothly. Had absolutely no trouble going through security. Our daughter loved the ride through the airport and we had no problem attaching the Travelmate to the seat on the airplane. Great invention...wouldn't travel without it.

We have traveled a lot with our daughter and tried different systems - this has been by far the best combination of ease/practicality & value for money.

Some reviewers talked about it being difficult to attach but the latest version is unbelievably easy and fast - and so far all airports have been fine about doing a wand scan if it didn't fit in their xray.

I have no complaints & we travel A LOT!

I had had great hopes for the cart since it would have eliminated the need to carry a seperate stroller through the airport and we could have checked it. We struggled with trying to fit it on to the car seat for over an hour before giving up. I met a woman in the airport who had hers working for a much younger and smaller child and said it worked great. She asked me if I had looked at the list of compatible car seats, which I had not since I bought a new car seat the night before to take with us so we wouldn't have to take ours out of the car. Perhaps it's a great item, but it didn't work for me and I will be returning mine.

This was such a pain! I don't understand how it got so many awards for design. My car seat was listed as compatible, but it kept slipping off the tiny little holders. The strap was a nightmare to adjust...nothing like the video at all. There should be a larger surface for the car seat to sit on. It looks like it might be easier with a different style seat.

This product allows you to go from car to aiport gate to your plane with your child strapped in the seat. Since Britax Marathon car seats are FAA approved, you literally roll your child to his seat on the plane and then buckle the seat in. If you muct, you may easily remove the wheeled device from the car seat.

Love it!!! A must have on trips.

Our son is 3 and no longer fits in his airplane/travel stroller. I saw this attachement and gave it a shot. It worked awesome! We moved him from the car to the sidewalk with him still in the stroller- never having to take him out of the carseat! STrolled him into the airport, into the plane, and set the whole thing in the airline seat. Mind you, never getting out. It was a great relief to know he was safely buckeled into his everyday carseat and not getting lost or lagging behind while we dealt with typical travel issues.

We are so sad that our son has outgrown this! He LOVED the attention he got from everyone we passed in the airport and we loved that we could get to our gate quickly without him running away.
It was tricky to set-up the 1st time, but we left it attached the entire time we traveled, so we only set it up 1 time.

This was amazing to travel with. I flew across the country to visit family by myself with my 17 month old. The GO GO Baby was a great investment and there were many family's with one in the airport. However, we had to check the car seat at the plane door because the flight attendent said it was too big. Even though I bought a ticket for my daughter they would not allow her car seat on the flight, so we ended up checking it on the way back.

So, I bought this because we travel a lot.. So it really helped BUT it was a really pain to screw and unscrew the seat (remember you have to do it.. 1) as soon as you get to the airport, 2) when you are going to put the seat on the airplane 3) when you guys get to your destination.. and then to your car..! Gosh! It was too much for me.. I am sorry but I really hate it.. I am traveling next week just with my 19 month old and I dont really know how I am going to do it.. for sure I am not taking this! I have to car seat already so if you are looking for something else buy the car seat that comes with wheels.. !
