This tub safety rail is sturdier than others — and more versatile, too! That's because it has three suction cups (not two like others) for superior gripping power. Mount it flat against the tub wall or straddling the side of the tub, wherever it's handier for your child. And because it's taller than others, kids don't have to reach or bend and are therefore less likely to lose their balance. Great value, too: we've seen similar rails at twice the price! Adjusts to fit most standard tubs. Read More

Comments about Kidco Bath Safety Hand Rail:
works just fine. helpful if the tub side was larger. But even with that, it has made my toddler more of a do it yourselfer. now, just have to get daddy to remember to put it away after bathtime :)
This handrail gave me peace of mind after my 3year old son slipped in tub and cut his chin which required stitches. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a child who have a desire to be independent, but yet maintain a safe environment. This may not fit all tub sizes!
The three suction cup design works on its own to grip the tub....but when the slightest pressure was applied to it, the product did not stick to the tub. I am returning it.
I thought this would help me with my two year old twins. WRONG. I have bought a lot from one step ahead. This is a poor product. I would question buying this type of product on internet in the future
it is great b/c my son does not like to sit for his bath anymore.
My daughter's father had purchased this for use at his home and had told me about it. My 4 year old daughter asked me to get one for our house. It is the perfect size, does not get in my way and gives her an added boost of independence. The best part is that it has made bath time so much safer for my daughter.
I purchased the safety hand rail for my daughter to independently get in and out of the bathtub. The product does not provide a consistant secure grip and slips when used.
The bar did not open wide enough to fit our tub. A friend who tried it noted the suction was not strong enough to create a solid and tight fit, and she was concerned that her child bumped it loose.
This rail is great in helping my toddler get in and out of the tub by himslef. The only con is that he has figured out how to take it off so I have to make sure that it is on properly before he gets in and out of the tub.
This is the second of this kind of product we have tried because our son has a hard time getting out of the bathtub without slipping. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit on the edge of our bathtub. We have a standard size tub, but the suction cups are so large that they overlap the edges and won't stay on. We even tried the alternate way of attaching it, but the suction cups wouldn't stay attached. Maybe the measurements of the suction cups need to be in the information section of the website so people can measure before they order.
Once this product works, it is very useful when we give baths to our two and a half years old. When we initially got it, it was a good encouragement for him to stand up and give us his each leg at a time to be washed. Other wise, he would just sit in the water and play with his toys. Basically, it works great when the suction is tight on each side and the top of the handle, other wise if it's not, and you and your child are not aware he can go tumbling down by loosing balance. So we always have to check it and readjust the suction cups. Out son actually learnt to use when it is unstable. So, this product is in a way dangerous to use for younger toddlers since you can't always rely on it.
The gripping power of the suction cups was not strong enough to last two baths, my 21 month old son was able to pull it loose.
This went up quick and easy. My 18 month old is a little distracted by being able to get in and out, but hopefully he will outgrow that soon!
I use in the kid's tub and mount to the tub. It also worked mounted on my tiled wall though you need to be careful on the placement on the tile to make sure the handle is secure. The kids love it-they use it-and I feel less anxious letting the kids get into and out of the tub by themselves.

The idea of this product is great but it is not executed well. We find that one of the three pressure seals breaks up every time someone touches it, no matter how gently. No one could use this to support his/her weight, especially an elderly person or handicapped child.
