At last: a childproofing lock for Lazy Susan style cabinet doors! Until now, it's been hard to keep busy explorers out of revolving cabinets — but not with our ingenious hardware-mounted latch! It secures to the inside of the cabinet frame, so there's no outwardly-visible holes (and no more pinched fingers)! Read More

Comments about Dorel Juvenile Group Lazy Susan Cabinet Lock:
great product overall, a little hard to push in the lock to open, but otherwise fine
This lock is really quite easy to install, and eventually to use...it is really tought at first, but you get the swing of it. We have been using them for the last 2 years and have gone through 4 so far. They are great for keeping fingers out of the lazy susan, but they need to stop breaking!!! Will we buy more? Most likely, baby #2 just started walking and discovered the lazy susan corner.
It's difficult to operateYou can only turn the cabinet one way after installingA bit of an eyesoreBut it definitely keeps curious toddlers out of the lazy susan cabinet, which is exactly what it is supposed to do.
This is the only product we have found for this purpose, and it seems to work well, but it breaks easily. We have 2 lazy susans in our kitchen, and we have been though about 4. Still, they work well, so I do continue to buy them.
This lock is so useful to us. Both our children love the lazy susan and we were always worried about their fingers getting caught in the cabinet. The lock keeps them out! Unfortunately, we're on our 2nd lock. The first one broke. Still, I would absolutely reccommend this product.
I was happy to find something to keep my toddler out of the corner lazy susan cabinet, and it installed easily, but this is a cabinet that gets a lot of use and the lock broke after just a few months. It's also not easy to open (even for healthy adults) and I had difficulty because I have arthritis in my thumbs.Bottom line - if you are installing it on a seldom-used cabinet and you have really strong hands, this is good for the job.
I thought the product worked great keeping my 1 year old out of our lazy susan. He would pull out big cans and I was scared they would fall and hurt his little toes. However after about two weeks it broke and cannot be fixed. I we need to order another one but not so sure I am willing to at this point.
Overall we really like the product, there is nothing to compare it to because this is the only lock for a lazy suzzane we could find. The one thing we do not like is it is very hard to open especially for our 4 year old who is allowed in the lazy suzzane. It has made things easier by keeping the 1 year old out of the lazy suzzane.
this is the only product i have found that will work on the lazy susan cabinet, and it works great....till it breaks we are on lock number three, and this last time bought two for when it breaks again. that is its inly flaw it breaks after several months
These work well for Lazy susans, something that is hard to find. There are no holes or adhesives on the front of your cabinets, so that's a big plus. Not a lot of products out there that fit these criteria. This is the best one I have found. Here are the cons. The locks don't install perfectly if your lazy susan cabinet opening is cut on an angle rather than a perfect square cut to the cabinet front. Many lazy susans are cut on an angle like this to allow the door to pass freely while maintaining a small gap. You can still install it, but it will have wiggle room between the lock and the cabinet front that will make the lock harder to open. And the lock is indeed hard to open. My mother-in-law can't open it, so I have to get stuff out for her before I leave if she is watching the kids.Once installed, you will only be able to open the lazy susan in one direction. And as you turn it, the bar that holds the lazy susan shut will get stuck or knock stuff off the edges of the lazy susan, so you can't cram it as full as I usually do.It's not a perfect product, but it seems to be the best one out there, and is better than leaving my kitchen chairs on front of the lazy susans like I was before!! Haha.
After a couple pinched fingers, I have discovered this poduct & it is just PERFECT! Very easy to use everyday. Slightly hard to install, but not too hard for my husband!
we tried a lock that used adhesive but with the lazy susan it didn't last long; this lock is a life saver but it doesn't work if your cabinet has an outword bezel, the lever won't fit over it.

Easy to install. Has adjustments to allow it to fit tightly on the door so that there is no 'play' in the door movement. This ensures no pinched fingers. Seems to be very sturdy. Would recommend for rotating lazy susan doors.
I would recommend this simply because it is the only one I have found for a lazy susan, and it needed to be blocked off from my industrious toddler
Works good, but there isn't anything else to choose from, or compare to.
