I had hoped the footrest would fit the same as pictured in the still shot and the video. However, it does not. I drive an Equinox, and apparently the backseat is on a more exaggerated angle than the seat pictured in the photo and used in the video. This means my son's feet do not touch the footrest. He is above average in height for his age, so his height is not the problem. I was able to place a bed pillow on the footrest for our long car trip, which did allow him to be comfortable. The tray is a good idea, but again, the angle of our seats made it a bit tough to use. It is also a bit difficult to install.

We love this for longer trips. It is woderful for eating on the go, or drawing on the road. My older daughter loves the footrest for everyday use.

It is a little awkward for everyday day use, having to navigate around the table, or find a good spot to move it to, but worth it for the trips.

My main downside is just the gear style lock. My daughter was a little too forceful one day and the gear stripped on the table and it would no longer lock the table into position. I had to get her another. I now have one for my second daughter and she fell onto the footrest just before our first trip with it, that has the same gear syle lock system and it seems to have stripped out as well, but I have not had a chance to get it out and take a better look.

Overall, love the idea and basically the table. Just wish the gear was not so easy to render unusable. Accidents do happen with children.

Started with Taby Tray when daughter was 2. Now at 4, she needed something for her feet to rest on. She complained of her legs hurting her while riding in the car. Replaced Taby Tray with Table and Footrest combo. Daughter is very happy now and uses them both every day.

As others have noted, the footrest doesn't stay locked in place due to movement and weight of feet while riding. We simply adjust it each time we start our trip.

I'm afraid the part underneath the lever that allows the table to go up/down may strip. I don't think it will withstand my daughter lifting/lowering the table on her own without someone else releasing the lever first. I can already see that the table slowly starts to droop forward with a little weight.

The issues are minor. It definitely serves it purpose.

We purchased the Go Anywhere Table and Footrest for a 14 hour car trip that were taking. Our 4-year old had complained in the past about her feet falling asleep in the car and also struggled to keep her workbooks or coloring books flat on her lap to work in them. This table was amazing. It made all the difference in our car trip. She could easily eat meals on the go (with no messes!) and work on projects without getting frustrated. It was so easy to take the table off and on the base. It locked in place easily.
The footrest was a little tougher to get locked into place at the right height for her. But once we finally did, it made a difference for her and she did not complain about her feet falling asleep.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has to spend any length of time in the car with their children. Our 4-year old loved that she was a little more independent and not having to ask for help because things fell on the ground (didn't roll of the table because of the raised edge!). I liked it because I didn't have to stop the car or try to reach in the backseat to help her. We have recommended it to our friends and they have enjoyed it as well.

The others don't even compare. Attach to child and car seat? Are you kidding me? How inconvenient! I just flip a lever and push this out of the way to get my 2 yr old in and out or flip another and take it out completely leaving the foot rest in place. It even comes with a stake and table attachment which provides a ick free place to eat or play just about anywhere!

Used for our 5 year old daughter who has long legs and was worried she wouldn't reach the foot rest due to comments in other reviews. She's 40 inches tall and she reached it well, at multiple settings. We do tell her not to step onto the rest to get in her seat, which was a helpful hint from other reviewers - it is somewhat flimsy so teaching them not to step on it with all their weight will make the product last longer.

Tray is bulkier and doesn't fit as well but also a good investment for long trips (ours was 15 hours each way, and tray + rest were SO helpful).

We have this product in both booster seats. Kids love to use both the foot rest and tray. Easy to use and kids love the cup holders. More comfortable than having their feet dangling. They can easily adjust the trays themselves (4 and 7 year old). Worth the money.

I use this this table and footrest all the time. My 2 year old is quite tall and the footrest helps her legs fit comfortably in her booster seat. The table is great for eating and game play - especially on long trips, which we take frequently. I don't use the table daily - you can take it off and put it under the passenger seat for use when you need it. It is a little too high for her, so we have to put it on a slight slant, but it works ok that way.

We were thrilled with the idea of this product but the durability LACKS!! The first one received already had the gears for the table stripped and would not hold just the table weight. We requested another and this one worked fine out of the box. We used for the first time on a road trip. Our 3 year old loved having a table that she could use for activities. Half way through the trip home, she complained the table would not stay up. Upon inspection, we discovered the gears had again stripped. The design is for plastic gears to fit together and then apply a lock to hold it in place. The plastic hears are not deep enough and/or strong enough to hold up to ANY weight being placed on the table (ie coloring, books). As we were the only ones locking/unlocking and she was always supervised when using that it was not abuse that casued the issue. We have returned and requested a refund. Hoping to find something of similar design with better quality of gearing to hold up.

So far so good. We ordered the footrest and table and put everything together as instructed. We found it very easy to assemble and as long as you are following the intructions it is very sturdy. We plan on using during our upcoming vacation, for a 6 hr. ride. I will fill out a follow-up review after our vacation. So far we are very pleased with the construction, and ease of putting it together.

This product really lives up to the write-up! My Child and I just took our first 6+ hour car ride and this was a life saver! The footrests definitely helped with comfort and the tray holds big water bottles, kid-sized drinks (including juice boxes) and crayons, large paper, scissors, etc... So the whole ensemble is fun for my five year old and a great single-mom's helper! Two cons: it is bulky so in my Chevy HHR it is a tight fit behind the driver's seat and the tray height options could be improved with a shorter overall pole and better 'stay where you click it' ability. Overall, it was great and we'll use it for shorter trips too but not day-to-day. I should mention that my child is 49 inches tall so quite tall for a five-year-old and this may mean the tray set-up challenge wouldn't be so for a smaller child, but it also means that parents with 6-7 year olds should also consider this product. Assembly is very easy and storage isn't too bad. Get one for your vacation!

Loved it at first and it worked okay on trips for our 3 year old daughter. However, it soon broke when she tried to push it away from her and I wasn't able to stop and help. She liked having it when it worked, but the angle was awkward so it slanted toward her. Now that she's 5 and taller, it would probably be easier to get it at a more level angle, if there is space enough in the back seat. I've had this sitting in the garage for years while I kept meaning to send it back and just decided to use the footrest part alone. My daughter likes having it but the only drawback is that I have to lower it every time before she can get out of her seat. This can be a bit frustrating for the independent 5 year old and the mom! Metal teeth would make both the tray and footrest sturdier.
Not sure if this tray has been given a look for crash safety...

I have it in my vehicle and my daughter loves it. She has something to rest her feet on and she can color with out losing her crayons to the back seat monster. I am looking forward to trying it out at the beach this summer too.

The real draw back for me is that the foot rest causes me to have to push my front seat up a great deal. It cuts out the leg room for anyone in the front seat. Also my daughter is a little short and the table to too tall for her to comfortably use.

We use the footrest daily and have to readjust it everytime we get in the car, but my daughter does finds it more comfortable. Metal teeth would definately help the footrest to stay in place (especially during tantrums!) The tray table is only for long trips and we have one coming up, but I did try it out once with good results.
