Comments about Sunshine Kids Easy View Back Seat Mirror:
This is a good quality mirror that does its job. I am using it to see my infant in his rear facing car seat. I own a Honda minivan. It secures nicely to the headrest of the second row captain's chair. It does need to be adjusted every so often.
I had a different mirror with my first son and it worked fine, but when I saw this mirror I had to buy it for my infant. I love that I can see his entire face and see what he's up to. This mirror is easy to install and adjust. Other mirrors are hard to get just perfect and you need the help of someone else while you sit in the driver seat and have them adjust it. With this mirror I set it up and it was perfect the first time. Totally worth my time and money.
This is the first mirror, that once adjusted, I don't have to move the mirror or my position to see my baby. The mirror does not come with any install instructions or tips so it can be frustruating to get it adjusted correctly. What I learned: change the height of the headrest you are mounting the mirror on first for coarse alignment. Place the strap around the headrest vertically (top to bottom), not horizontally (side to side), because this allows the greatest range of motion for the swivel mount. It is a nice big mirror, especially when I turn around to see the baby. Someone else mentioned that the baby looks very small when looking in the rear view mirror. The baby certainly looks smaller, but based on pysics, it has to since you're looking at a reflection of a reflection. The mirror is still plenty big enough to tell if the baby is awake or asleep, see their facial expressions, and find their mouth to stick in a pacifier. I would highly recommend this mirror to a friend.
This is wonderful! You can easily see your child in your rear view mirror without straining to see your kids. It is a super product and I recommend it to all parents!
We bought this mirror because other mirrors were too bulky and hard to adjust. This mirror fits well on the headrest, and can be adjusted so that it does not block the view out of the back window of our small car.
Headline says it all. Good quality, seems much sturdier than a previous one I had of similar design that broke. Stays in place well and allows me to see my babe!
This mirror is so much better than the one that I bought at [...]. The swivel component is what makes it the best. The other big, bulky mirrors got in the way of whoever else sat in the backseat of the car, but not this one. Easy to install and provides me with the best view of my child...and he can see me too. Already bought another one for a gift.

I am a firm believer in rear-facing car seats,(just google the crash test comparisons!) and this mirror makes it possible to see my son's face, even though he is in the seat behind mine, facing backwards. There are other mirrors out there, but I like that this one is so big and can swivel, because sometimes I have to get the angle just right so I can see his face. I don't think it would work as well with a mirror that couldn't swivel. The only drawback is that the seat MUST have a headrest. The first car I tried it in had integral headrests, so I couldn't use the mirror as there was nothing to attach it to.
I don't know what it is about backseat mirrors, but so many of them are just awful! They don't attach well, they have a horrible "mirror-like" surface that is cloudy and hard to see, they aren't adjustable... I could go on. I think we've tried maybe 4 or 5 in total! Always disappointed, always returned the product. I was skeptical about this particular mirror because it seemed too simple and too good to be true. But the reviews didn't lead me astray - hands down the best mirror we've found. My almost 1.5yo son still faces the rear (and will continue to as long as he's able), and he loves to see me looking at him through this mirror. Our daughter is due next month and don't you know I'll be ordering another of these for her! Definitely recommend. What a relief to have found - just makes driving a little more of a pleasant time when you can see your child's face. My only tiny issue is that the simple way you attach it to your backseat headrest makes it a big wobbly when you're driving, especially if the road isn't smooth. But, I will still take that over all the other mirrors combined!
easy to install, easy to use. much better than the previous Eddie Bauer version I had
I looked everywhere for a better car mirror, and this is it. It is large, easy to move around and it actually stays put once you set it up. Really. I have had it for two months and so far have no complaints.
I love this mirror. It's sturdy and stays in place. I'm a first time parent and it makes me feel reassured knowing that I can see what my infant is doing while I'm driving.
This mirror is great. Is big with out being to big. You can actually see your baby in this mirror unlike some that I have tried. This is a real mirror not that aluminum stuff that hardly works. I love it. It fits right on the head rest.
I've purchased a few mirrors because mirrors of this type are hard to see through. This mirror is very clear and I can clearly see my child in the backseat.
I installed this in my Pacifica in about 2 minutes. The mirror was very sturdy and once I had the position set, it hasn't moved. I can see every move my baby makes. It is bulky, but I just have more mirror space to look at. Overall great buy.
