These are great for running around the house, especially if you have wood, tile, laminate or any slick surfaces in your house. My parent's house has pretty much all of the above and these were great for keeping our little walker on her feet. They have also helped me save on buying new socks. Before my daughter would sometimes run around in the back room where the dogs spend most of their time, and it would really do a number on her socks...not anymore! We put these over her socks when she's running around the house. Love them!!!

These were a great alternative for our 15 mo old who absolutely cannot wear slippers because his feet sweat! We have hardwood floors and in the winter months he needs something covering his feet. Even socks with tread were too slick, so these are the perfect solution. They are thin enough that they breathe, & they have good tread on the bottoms. The only negative is that they are a silky material so can still be just a little slippery. But overall, they have been our best solution!

I find they work great on our hardwood floors. They are easy to get on, he never tries to take them off like he does when just wearing socks. The nonskid sole is not so "sticky" that he trips like I have found with some. Over all a GREAT product. I will be buying another pair.

I ordered these for my grandson and I unfortunately ordered one size too small. However, he did where them once and did great in them. We are saving them for his sister to use when she gets old enough. She is due next month. I wanted them because he had just started walking and thought they would be something to help keep his feet warm and give him a little traction, but not be so bulky as shoes.

These shoes are fantastic. My son hates "real" shoes but I do not like him going with only socks on so these are our compromise. I ordered 1 pair and will be ordering at least 2 more. He does not try to take them off and helps give him a little more grip since he has only been walking a little over a month. Worth every penny!

This product works fine on the carpet, but not on the laminate and tile floor, which was what I wanted to keep my son's feet warm when he was not on carpet. Several other reviews said the shoes ran small, so I ordered a size up, but they were too big. I would recommend ordering your child's real size. Lastly, for the money, if you can find houseshoes, you may be better off.

I LOVE THESE SHOES!! i'm so serious..... my daughter just turned 1.. she has had these for a couple months now.. and she can walk in them. that is a HUGE plus for me.. being that all the other shoes that i have bought for her are hard.. and not easy to walk in. She allows me to put them on everyday. What i mean is that she doesn't fight me to put them on her. She likes them also. I tell everyone i know that these are great.. and there is not one parent that has seen them on her... that doesn't ask me where i got them....

These "shoes" run big. I carefully measured using the size chart provided by One Step Ahead and the size I ordered is easily one size too big. It's okay though, I am sure to put socks on first, and there will be many wearings in the future as her feet grow. Overall, this is a perfect non-stick slipper to wear around the house on cold floors.

I really like these slippers, however, they are NOT for warmth. I found that my daughter still needs socks on to keep her feet warm during the winter. These are thin nylon that are just covers to that the toddler does not slip on the floor. I love that my 2 year old can not pull them off. They stay on very well and I don't worry about her slipping on the hard wood floors anymore.
