We use the playyard to replace very dangerous playpens. With the 18-month-old twins it will be nice to use outdoors; will save from running in two different directions. There is plenty of room for them to play, run, and dance. You can confidently do chores, and know the children are safe.

I use it for my dog and it is very convenient to put on locations that he is not allowed to hangout like the family room .

My husband and I opted for this gate so that our little 8 month old girl would be enclosed safe on her playmat with her toys. We have 2 stair cases, tons of electronics and wires that seemed to interest our girl once she started crawling so this gate makes it easy to contain her instead of trying to block everything else from our daughter. We plan on using this until she starts walking. Even though there are 8 panels 6 panels seem to give her enough room to crawl around and play. We are very happy we got it.

It's a great alternative to the pack and play when you need your child in a safe place but enough room for play. A child cannot climb out of this gate.

This is great as We can get in with our grandson and he can move freely without our constant chasing. We fill it with us and his favorite toys and he is very very happy. Keeps him busy for hours and give us piece of mind. My son liked it so much we bought him one for Christmas. Best thing I could have bought!

We bought this product to surround our Christmas Tree to prevent falls by our grandson. He just turned one on December 1 and his Mom and Dad were concerned about him falling into the tree and causing injury. This worked perfectly to prevent that from happening.

I am a grandparent of 6, two of which are under a year. A couple days a week I watch one of the babies and this gate has made it so much easier for me. I get to go in and play with her and can leave her on her own. It is roomy and I feel safe walking out of the room with her in there. I do worry about her grabing onto it to pull herself up, it is not terribly sturdy. But all in all I do like it, and would recommend it to others.

We playfully call this the "baby cage," and I couldn't have made it through my first trimester of my second pregnancy without it. My husband travels nearly all week, and my 8 month old son refused to be contained once he learned to crawl (5 months) and furniture walk (5.5 months). I was so exhausted chasing him around to keep him our of harm's way (we're in a small apartment that's not really baby-proofed while our home is being built) that I was close to, if not in, tears most days. At my mom's urging, I purchased this and set it up in his room. It takes up nearly the whole floor space in there, but that's great b/c the purpose wasn't to limit his space, just to keep him safe. It's bulky just by the nature of the beast, and a little heavy when folded b/c there are so many "sides". I have a hard time dragging it from one place to another while it's folded when I'm carrying him, but then, it's probably not a good idea to try to do that anyway. He's in the 95th percentile for height and he can stand up and reach the top edge, yet it's sturdy enough that even while trying to literally climb the side, it hasn't collapsed. He can't get his fingers pinched in the hinges, but if he were to figure out how to move the whole thing, it's possible that he could pinch himself between two of the sides. Otherwise, it's perfectly safe. I can even leave him in there (as long as there are only soft toys) and go to the restroom by myself! My only complaint is that, when folded up, it's so big that it's hard to get out of the way, and it also tends to fall over and make a HUGE noise if it's not secured with the strap it comes with. The reason I don't use the strap is that it's not permanently attached (since it could be dangerous if left on while in use) and is never in a convenient place for me to grab. If someone could figure out how to make a gate like this that's CLEAR (and less unsightly, b/c we do use this in our living room as well), it would get 5 stars from me! Obviously, safety is the point, and it certainly does its job.

I bought this for my twins when they started crawling. A lifesaver, especially to keep them safe when I have to attend to my three-year-old. This has plenty of room for the two of them and was reasonably priced. We take it traveling too.

Poorly constructed, flimsy at best. A 7 month old can push it around and two in the same space can come close to toppling it if they are both in the same spot. Very cheaply made but not priced like it!

it works very well for my 11 month old. it makes it easy for me to get things done around the house without having to worry about where he is or what he has gotten into. it works so much better than a little play pen due to all the room that is allowed. love it!!!!!

I really like this play yard because it is versatile. I use it to expand my living room into my sun room and still block off all the dangerous stuff. I also use it folded in a zig zag to block off shelves. I plan to use it outside as well.
the only issue I had with it is: when this is set up independently my son can move it! he pushes one section and changes the shape of the play yard! he can move it pretty far even when the knobs are tight, but this can be remedied with a little creative placement.
even though he can move it and I have to sometimes place a chair here or there, I still feel like I made a solid investment and I am glad I bought it. I use it everyday.
