Worth the money - these are engineered and constructed better than anything else I've seen. I'm one cheap Dad, so I bought just one to check it out before buying all the ones I needed.

Tip: If you want to save some money, you really only need these in one window in each room - you can buy the cheap permanent kind for the other windows. They won't match but it will work.

Installation Tip - ASSUME you will need different mounting hardware - it's not their fault that the screws don't fit your application, there are too many possibilities for them to pack screws for every situation. They were too long for me since I installed them in the metal window frame itself.

This is a wonderful product!! I was terrified to open the second story windows before getting these. I have had 2 of them for years and just ordered a 3rd for another window. They are very durable and come out easily in case of emergency or to open and shut storm windows. I am so pleased with them. Yes, i agree that they could stand to be a little taller, but i've never had an issue with it. They are a little pricey, but they are definitely worth the price. I intend to get one at a time as I can afford them until the entire upstairs has them. They really just look like part of the window from outside. No one even has noticed we have bars on the kids windows until we mentioned it.

Ordered these for the kids bedrooms and a low loft window. I never opened these windows before do to my fears that the screens may easily be pushed out. I have seen other types of window guards , but my kids figure out everything and I thought they may be able to take out the window guards. I ordered the Guardian Angel window guards and love them. I installed them myself in about ten minutes. I can now open the windows and feel that my kids are safe.

This really is a great product. Very durable and super easy to install. I did it myself in minutes. Just need a good drill. Such a relief to have this task done. Installed to all windows on the second story of our home to prevent our curious 15 month old son from pushing the screen out and having something devastating happen.

We purchased this for our toddlers bedroom . His bed is near the window ,and to prevent him from breaking it or trying to open it, this was a perfect choice. Installation was very easy and removal is just as easy.

We bought this product not as a guard to keep children from falling out a window but as an adequate deterent of break-ins for a ground floor window. We live in a good neighborhood and do not expect serious crime but this window was too tempting as there was a lot of electronics on the inside. The bars are attractive from the street. I like the fact that they are easily opened from the inside for egress in an emergency.

Guardian Angel says it all. I'm so happy these are available now. When my son was an infant I was already safety proofing the house but I could not find any window guards at Babies R Us. Thank goodness I found these. The safety and innovation are remarkable and for parents to be at ease with a toddler in his big boy bed in a two story house that gave me confort to know he was safe. As any parent knows your child will climb and to know that these are going to keep him safe from harm is wonderful. If you're thinking about buying these and say do I really need them YES you do. Eric Clapton's son who was four years old died from falling out of a window his song "Tears from Heaven" just hearing that made me think and I quickly made the purchase. Keep your children as safe as you can buy these you won't be sorry you did.
