I bought 4 of these night lights because it had a high and low setting and I couldn't find any around. The fact that it is cool to the touch and shock resisnt was a nice feature as well. Don't waste your money you can hardly tell the difference between the high and low settings. Major disappointment.

Works just as described. If pulled from the wall, the shield pops out keeping toddlers safe. Also, the bulb is dimmer than most night-lights so I think my son sleeps better.

What I like most about this product is that it covers the other outlet opening keeping little hands out of it and there is no on off switch to entice toddlers to play with it. It is on when it dark and off when it not.... Lives up to the promises.

My youngest is drawn to night lights so I figured this one would be the safest of the bunch. He pulled it out within 3 seconds of spotting it - wish it were bigger so little hands couldn't get around it so easy. I like the two brightness settings. Overall it is a good night light.

This night light looks stylish for an adult, but it is really not bright enough. I got it for my infant's room, but it would be better suited for an older child or to put in a hallway, kitchen, bathroom, etc. for a child to feel secure as he walks about at night. Safety covering over the prongs is a good feature. This product is just fine.

Initially I liked this night light a lot as it was safe. But, it didn't last long enough to maintain this good opinion, as it burned out and there is no way to replace the batteries. Not a green item for sure.

Our 15 month old son is drawn to the nightlights around the house. I constantly worry that he will burn himself on the hot bulbs or get shocked. This nightlight has stayed cool since the moment it got plugged in (over a week so far and constantly on). The high/low feature is really nice and the fact that it knows when to come on is helpful. Right now there is something infront of ours so it has stayed on. Great nightlight. A little expensive but worth it to know he is safer.

I use this for my son's room and it's great becuase I don't trip over anything, but it almost gives TOO much light. i end up half covering it, so it doesn't wake him up!

We based our purchase on prior reviews on this site. For the price paid [$] we expected something a bit larger and constructed better. It's one of the typical cheap plastic items that you see in today's market. We're going on 2 weeks of use. Hopefully, the bulb lasts long enough to somehow justify the price. Don't waste your money on this one. Go to a baby store or even a big box hardware store and pick up several nightlights for the same amount of $$$ that are LED based (low heat emission and electric usage).

I love this night light! I bought it for my son when he moved to his big boy bed. It is safe--no light bulb exposure, cool to the touch, & the plug is covered. It is convenient--two levels of lighting. Just push for high or push for low. I just bought a second light for my baby girls room. Love it!

I bought this night light because our 17 month old wouldn't leave other night lights alone. She was always trying to pry them out of the socket, or remove the guard. This night light is the answer. She checked it out the first morning when she discoverd it, but found nothing to move and has never bothered with it again. It's egg-shaped and sits flat against the wall, so it can't be messed with. The only negative is that the light is blue, unlike any other night light we've had, and it wasn't a welcome change for our 4 yr old.

This light is fine, but I wish they would bring back the night light that fits over both outlets - the night light the kids can not yank out.

I like this nightlight because it does stay cool and the rubber between the plug and the outlet will prevent my toddler from getting her fingers zapped. I like that there are two settings for the light to make it brigher or dimmer. Either setting gives enough light in our hallway to walk througn and see where you are going. Also, I like that I don't need to worry about turning it on or off because it has an automatice sensor. The design is different from most other night lights, almost reto looking. The only downside is that my toddler likes how it looks and wants to touch it all the time.
