This is the best bug cream ever formulated. It is extremely effective against black fly and mosquitoes. If anyone in the family does get a bite, I immediately apply this cream and the bite disappears. I was never able to enjoy the outdoors in the summer, or go camping in the woods before I found this product. My husband is a beekeeper, and when he gets stung, this cream helps take away pain and swelling. My family could not live without this cream!

I have bought this product for my 2-year-old for a weekend camp (where we would be outdoors most of the time) and a beach vacation. And my husband and I ended up using it more than our son did! :)

It does have two cons: it's a cream that comes in a tub so there's no way of getting around getting your hands messy. it's also pretty smelly, although you get used to it after a day or two. The first time I used this, I used it on myself to test it out before putting it on my son, and my husband immediately said "no wonder this repels bugs. it would repel people, too!" Nonetheless, this stuff really works. When I had this on just on my legs and not on my feet, I had bugs come sit on my feet where as they would come near my legs and just fly away.

We waited for a trip to the local nature park to try this out, knowing we would be coming up against fierce mosquitos and this worked like a charm for us! I applied the cream from ankle to mid-thigh (under shorts) around my daughter's neck and on both arms wrist to shoulder. It has a woodsy citrus smell that is pleasant enough (especially compared to some bug sprays). I also had my husband apply it as well and both came home free of bites. The cream is easy to apply and similar in texture to sunscreen creams. Not too runny, not too thick. The odor does linger on skin and clothing. I tried to use a baby wipe to quickly clean off my daughter before nap and it wasn't doing the trick, we were successful at bath time. Overall a great product. Wish it were a little cheaper, but a little seems to go a long way.

I have 3 year old twins and one of them attracts bug bites within seconds of going outside. This product works great! I've been using it all summer and it keeps the bugs away better than any other product I have tried. The smell is rather pleasant and not strong at all. It's all natural and doesn't have any harsh chemicals so I feel safe using it on my toddlers. They never get mosquitoe bites when wearing it! I only wish it also came in a spray, but on the plus side the cream makes it easy to apply to target areas and a little really does go a long way.

We love this product! It less messy than spraying bug spray (and you have better control of where it's going), and I feel so much more comfortable with this on my children's sensitive tender skin. We live in Maine where the black flies are vicious during baseball season. This cream keeps them at bay very nicely!! It does have a strong smell, but we like it, it's kind of ceder-ish and woodesy :o)

Before I bought this product, my kids were constantly being attacked by Blackflies! This product really works for us. I was hesitant at first with other comments on how bad the smell was. It actually isn't as bad as I thought.My kids don't mind it but apparently the bugs do. They get baths every night before bed so it gets washed off anyway! I will buy again!

So were on vaction in the carbiean for about 4 nights I've been using the lotion as directed, on the fifth night I forget to put it on my 9 month old he wakes up with 8 mosquito bites. every time I would forget he would have bite marks this stuff really works!!!!

THe bugs did not bite her when she had this stuff on her, head to toe, even her face. The first night, I didn't put any on her face and she was bitten. THereafter, I put it on her face and no more bites, anywhere. IT smells just fine, too. HIghly recommend it. We were in St.JOhn, USVI, and there are plenty of mosquitos, that go with the beautiful beaches...

I bought this because my 2 year old was getting bite and getting huge welts. The product smells a little, but the results are worth dealing with the smell. A little goes a long way. My husband and I ended up using it as well and even put some on the dog to keep the bugs away from him. We also rubbed some on my 2 month olds legs and feet and that was enough to keep the bugs off him. Awesome product.

This cream is amazing it not only keeps bugs away but it truly relieves the stinging should a child be bit. My nephew insists on putting the cream on every day since he has not been bit since we first bought it the beginning of this summer. My entire family uses it now - that's 15 kids! You have to try it to believe it.

Great product. Used it in Central Florida in August/Septemeber and it worked like a charm. I used it on the whole family (including 3 year old and 13 month old) and it worked perfectly. No bug bites. I did have to reapply and it smells a little like citronella, but it wasn't greasy or heavy on the skin. I would recommend this to anyone!

My daughter got mosquito bites around her ankles, and I applied this cream hoping it could relieve the itchness. But to my disappointment, it didn't work at all. And the smell is very strong. Now my car smells like it too. :(
