My daughter is able to pull out clips together with the cord very easily. I actually think that the red color of the side of the clip attracts her. I still keep the clips on the plug hoping that at least when she pulls the cord, she won't be shocked. I'll have to think of a better solution.

I thought these were really useful, my son likes to pull the cords out but only half way then will reach behind and grab the metal. With this product I no longer worry about him getting shocked because the cover protects the prongs and if he pulls harder then the whole plug just comes out. Problem sloved!

There are outlets that you have to use, even though they are out in the open. Then you have a curious one-year old come over and unplug something from them and your heart leaps as you see how close those little fingers are griping towards the prongs and you can't get across the room fast enough to stop it. These shock sheilds make it nearly impossible for them to touch that part of the plug before it's disconnected from the electricity. Huge sense of relief for me once I got these in a few key locations in my house!

These are a great idea and in some cases work great. They only fit on the normal plugs featured in the picture but try attaching them to anything other than the standard plug and they don't fit.
