this product is good for the foot rest and the comfort seat, but it need a splatter guard for the boys, and an inset that does not allow the urine to leak out from under the seat.

Because of the attached 'ladder', my daughter can climb onto the regular toilet unassisted. She loves that we no longer have to lift her up, and this device is so much more stable than using a separate footstool.

My 2 year old grandaughter immediately started using it all by herself and loves it. Easy to put together if you pay attention! Lightweight and stowable and looks very comfortable and the size of the seat makes us both feel secure. She has one at home now too!

We are starting potty training, and I like that my son can get to the potty independently. However, I wish that it had a bigger splash guard on the front for my little squirt. For girls this wouldn't be a problem!

This seat gives my son, who has cerebral palsy, the best stability of all the seats I've found. It does have its downsides though. It scuffs up the regular toilet seat below it; we have replaced that seat twice now. The boy's pee seems to often go between the potty seat and the regular seat, making a big mess. It is great though for potty independence. He just turned six and has been using this seat for the past two years.

Found this to be an easy potty training tool for my son! He loved the idea of sitting on the BIG potty and it was comfortable and safe for him to use the soft seat, handles and steps for support in learning to go #2!I found the plastic potties with bells and whistles became more about play and less about understanding WHY we use the potty. When you are serious about potty training- get this. No dumping and rinsing in toilet & sink as with small plastic bowls...YUCK! Does need some cleaning on underside after each use (we use Lysol wipes and it is a quick clean up) and may not sit with a perfect fit on all toilets...ours doesn't but it is still sturdy and the small gap just needs a wipe with some tissue..esp boys! Clean by putting in bathtub with a little bleach solution and rinsing...also portable for hotels, visits or small bathrooms etc.

I have a three and a half year old girl and a two year old boy. THis is our second contoured potty seat that we have purchased. The first one we accidentily left when we recently went on a trip to Florida. My daughter used it when she trained and now my son is using it. I love the fact that they can climb up and down by themselves and there are handles that they can hold onto to to help them balance. The only downside is that the front doesn't allow for little boys to sit down and urinate without creating a mess-although I have yet to find a toilet that prevents this anywhere. IT is easy to collapse so that adults can use the bathroom too or now that my daughter is a "big girl" she puts the seat away when she goes to the restroom. I highly recommend this seat. Best of all-moms and dads don't have to clean the mess! You can't take the seat with you to the corner restaurant but it is great for Grandma's house or extended stays in places that aren't kid friendly.

Whenever my son pees, it squirts out between the potty seat and the toilet seat which makes for a runny, drippy clean-up. I wish it had a tighter seal. Maybe for girls it would be better.

i got this to use for a taller toilet because she couldn't reach with her stepstool. it just works for the standard toilet but she can use it "all by mysef!".

My son loves this. He immediately climbed up and used the potty. He potty trained very easily with this helper.
Being a boy, it does collect urine on the bottom if he is not positioned just right, but I would take that over diapers any day :)

I bought this recently for our second child who is 2 years old. She is really trying to potty-train herself based on watching her 4 year old sister. She was having so much trouble getting on and off the potty with the seat and the stools and she's very tall for her age - so I had been eyeing this potty seat since our first born and decided to give it a try.
Boy I wish I had bought it the first time around! Both girls use it now regularly and it really helps with my little one trying to do it on her own. She can even take it on and off the potty by herself too. It's sturdy and stable, and we've even taken it with us to spend the night over at the grandparents' house - makes things so much easier.

My child likes to use the product. The only complaint I have is that is does not connect securly to the olbong toilet seat cover that we have. So when she hops on it slids around a little bit. She really likes to climb on by herself and the rails help.

This was really great. My son would not try to sit on the potty with other potty seats. He really likes to play with the handles and does much better!!
