Comments about Regalo My Cot:
My 4 yo granddaughter can sleep in my room whenever she wants to. She feels like we are having a sleepover. My only regret is I didn't get it sooner. She should have had it since she was 2 yo. Thanks.
Based on reviews for this item, we opted to purchase these instead of the more expensive aerobed. So glad we did. There is virtually no set up. They are compact and low to the ground so my toddler boys won't get hurt if they fall out. As some other reviewers noted, there is no padding. We bought an inexpensive foam mattress topper and cut it in half to add some cushion to each of the beds. Even with the foam, these beds transport so easily! And my boys loved them. Slept like they were at home.

I purchased the cot for use at a vacation cabin for my 28 moold granddaughter. It is very convenient but I am not sure it's comfortable for her (used once). A support strap under the cot mid-way down is pulled too tight and creates a wide ridge right acrossd the small of her back.
We brought this cot on our vacation for my 2 1/2 year old son to sleep on. It folded small enough to pack in the car easily, and it opened big enough for him to be comfortable. I really like that there is a fitted sheet that comes with it, very easy to remove and wash. We did wind up putting some pillows on the floor next to the cot because my son rolled out the first night- he is used to having a big bed. I definitely recommend this cot!
Folds up like a camping chair and has a bag for carrying/storage. My daughter slept on this during our vacation with no complaints. She was happy to have her own space and it was easy to move it to different rooms. It was lightweight and easy to transport. I am very happy we bought it!
We ordered this for our out-of-town guest who have a 2.5 yr. old. It worked great. She loved it. I know we can use it for our kids who are 2 and 4 when we travel (by car) as well. It may weigh a bit much for new airline restrictions but is quite light and easy to move/carry otherwise. I am surprised that the legs don't lock in some sort of way. But other than that it was awesome and we love it.
I received this cot as a gift from my mother. I travel a lot with my two young children and it is very handy. My daughter is 2 and sleeps on the cot when we are away from home. It is compact, light weight, and has it's own travel bag. I haven't found anything bad about the item yet!
We took this on a trip where we were staying in a hotel. My toddler didn't even want to sit on the hotel bed, he preferred his 'blue bed'. He is almost 2 and he LOVED it!
I initially bought this so my 4 year old could nap/rest when we went to the beach. We took it camping this weekend, she usually sleeps on an air mattress, but we though we'd give the My Cot a try. She LOVED it! She is pretty tall for her age,(42 inches) and at first I was worried her feet would hang off the end. But it is longer that it appears to be. My only problem w/ it was that the top didn't seem very thick, and the frame is noticeable through the sheet/top. After we put her sleeping bag on it though it was much more comfortable.
We just went on vacation for two weeks crossing 4 states and our two year old grand-daughter used it at every location. She loves it, cryed when we had to pack it up to come home. Great buy and would recommend it to anyone.
Love it! We use it often when we go traveling. The only con was that just recently the cot started sagging. I just took the canvas off, washed and dried it on low, and it shrunk back up. I would definately recommend this over and over again!
Just returned form a week's stay in West Virginia, my 3.5 year old daughter (30 pounds and 38 inches tall) slept on this with absolutely no problems and no complaints all week! Previously we'd had and inflatable "Ready bed" and she didn't like the sounds that it made when she moved around, and she was always too hot on it. We did buy a memory foam mattress topper, full size is the same width and this bed is long, and just cut one piece to fit each bed (we bought another for our 16 months old to use once he is mature enough to stay on it) - just to make it a bit more cushy, as we usually have long stays and will be using these for a week or more at a time.Only real complaint is the carry bag doesn't have a shoulder strap like the similar style camp chairs usually have - the only way to carry this is to hold it by the drawstring or stuff it under your arm. I think I will be adding on my own carry strap to the bags, us parent's can't ever carry just one thing at a time, so we need to be able to throw it on our shoulder with the diaper bag and still have hands free to hold the kids!
I watch my 4 year old grandson during the day and this is perfect for afternoon naps. He loves the cot and I like the fact it has a removal sheet. Very easy to setup and put away.
The cot is very easy to set up and stow, and I love that once the sheets are on it, I can fold it with the sheets still on it. My toddler even seems to sleep better on this than her regular mattress, because the sling shape of the sleeping surface cradles her. My one complaint is that the bag the comes with the cot doesn't have a handle, or a cinch on the drawstring, so it is not as easy to carry as it could be.
I was using the pop-up tent set up by KidCo and it worked great. I wanted to get the cot because it was easier to set up. The first time my son slept on it for a nap at my Aunt's, he slept for 3 1/2 hours! He loves it. I am so glad I bought it, and if my nephews sleep over, I have an extra bed for them. I bought a camping pillow from LLBean and it fits perfect on it. I ended up buying 2 cots.
