I think this will do the trick and keep our son away from cleaning supplies but we don't like the wire sides. Our son would be able to stick his hand inside and touch all the bottles if he got to it. If I am keeping cleaning supplies away from him I would not want him to even touch the bottles incase something leaked (like laundry detergent that sometimes drips down the side of the bottle) This bothers me a great deal but will still use it until we find something better. If I had thought of this, I probably would not have bought it.

This safety bin for household cleaners is easy to assemble, holds quite a lot (for those of us who are learning to keep it simple with only a very few different types of cleaners - most are the same stuff, anyway!), and offers peace of mind that the little explorer will not be able to get into it. The open "cage" sides allow for air circulation, but not for access from little hands. And as easy as it is for the adults to open, the toddler can't do it! Another reviewer was suprised by its size, but a quick check of the dimensions will keep that from happening.

My 15 month old broke 4 different safety locks to get into the kitchen cabinet....this is perfect it fits everything from Box of dishwasher detergent to clorox bottle, dish shop, My little shaq can open the cabinets but cannot get to those harmful products and the cabinets looks nice and neat too, I bought 2 of these, one for the bathroom as well, ordering two more for the laundry room.

Not nearly big enough for cleaning products kept under the sink. Need at least three to put them all in.

We keep our bathroom cleaning supplies under the sink cabinet. Unfortunately the way the sink is made, the door was not thick enough to use a safety latch. We tried a few times to use the non-screw latch but it would always come unstuck/undone. This product is great as it keeps all the dangerous locked & away from our curious 2 year old & fits great under the sink! Wish I knew & tried this out first.

We're very satisfied with this product. We bought it because our 11-month old son is quite an explorer. Assembly is required but my husband did it in 10 minutes max. It's very roomy; several cleaning products will fit in, even the ones in tall containers. It has a tray of about 1 inch deep to safe-store cleaning spounges, brushes or racks. And yes, it's pricey but it's all about peace of mind. We'll be getting a second one for our home and one for my parent's.

The safety latch popped open when when my toddler pushed it off a small stool. And, the openings are large enough for him to get his hands into and try to play with what's inside. It's a great concept, but a little tweaking would be nice. I will continue to use it, but I don't consider it as babyproof as I had hoped for. And, I am glad I didn't buy 2 like I had originally planned to do.

It was a little difficult to put together, but once we got it, it has held up well and our daughter can't open it! It's nice to have something to keep our cleaning products in, and leave them on the floor, and we feel safe that she can't get to them.

After reading the other online reviews I decided to purchase two to hold all of my household cleaners. I assembled both items in less than 5 min. The latch system works perfectly, I find it just easy enough to use, but definitly not something I will have to worry about my twins figuring out. With two of them, that increased the liklihood that they'd try to get into it. I have BOTH Clean Guards stored under my kitchen sink. I don't have a garbage disposal, but even if I did one would still fit with plenty of room. Having two helps hold my cleaners perfectly. I have a few that didn't fit, but it just helps me to scale down on my cleaners and go with more multi-purpose ones that help to tackle more cleaning. They are VERY sturdy and a breeze to carry from one room to another while cleaning. Makes transporting cleaning supplies from one floor to another a snap! There are a few bottles that are too tall if you try to put them under the trey, but I just store them at the other end and there is plenty of room. If you dedice you don't want the trey, it easily comes out. As a parent, I HIGHLY recommend this item!! Get two!!!!

This is exactly what I was looking for, for poisen products under the sink! It fits perfectly under one side of sink, although I wish it had more room for more products!! This will keep our little one from getting into the dangerous stuff!!
