After reading the reviews on the Clear Banister Gaurd Kit, I decided to order this product instead. I LOVE IT! I installed the mesh gaurd on our loft railing inside the house. It was easy to work with and easy to cut to size. No special tools required. There are no sharp edges, which I hear can happen with other product (Clear Gaurd). I was a little concerned about appearance at first but once I had it up, I liked it (not tacky). The only negative thing I can think of is that it took some time installing it myself (bit of a perfectionist) but it wasn't hard to do. I'm glad I found this product. It's definately going to prevent any little one's from dropping toys from the loft onto our living room floor below.

The product is tough, durable, and serves a great purpose. We live in a 3rd floor apartment with railings from the 60s so it was definitely a safety issue that needed to be addressed. The plastic netting is tough as are the zip fasteners that hold it in place. My only gripe is that it does not hang as nicely as it does in the picture, that it kind of billows. I measured and hang it with lots of fasteners so don't know what else I could've done to make it appear nicer.

We attached our deck guard to our front porch iron railings. We live on a main highway, so it was extremely important to us to keep the children ON the porch! I don't have to worry about their bodies or heads getting lodged between the railings. They can play with a ball on the porch and it won't roll under the bottom railing as we attached it to hover just above the concrete. I feel extremely comfortable with this product! I need to add it to our/neighbor's railing that we share. My toddler is trying to climb up on it - he can't do that with the other railing! It truly makes a difference and I highly recommend it!

We purchased this item last year and installed it on our deck to keep our toddler from climbing and possibly getting her head stuck between the balusters. It was easy to install. We cut it to the sizes we needed and used a staple gun to keep all edges flattened and tight against the deck. It works great for our dog too since he's known for pushing his husky head through the small spaces. It is durable and lasted through the winter without a problem. We are now purchasing a second one for another decking area. My only issue with the first purchase was that the top and bottom edge was a little sharp for my liking for a toddler. In the picture for today's purchase, it looks like they may have corrected that with an edging cover, but I'll find out when we receive this year's purchase. This plastic netting is much more durable and has not stretched out like some of the normal netting materials. You do lose clear vision through the railings, but safety is more important to us.

Pretty good. Ties too short to go around thick posts. Use a staple gun to install (which was easier than the ties). I hope we never need it but feel better having it. Used to cover the banister railing around open stair way too.

I use at the top landing of our outside stairs and down the railing. It was easy to install. Hopefully, it will stay strong and sturdy.

I would not buy the product. there is no place to actually atach to the deck. BIG waste of money. I would not recommend this product at all

I installed the No-Climb Deck Guard in our house on the stairs. After reading all the reviews this one had the highest ratings and now I know why. The material is easy to work with and all that was needed was a pair of scissors to cut the plastic mesh to size, and the zip ties (came with kit). It is super durable and the appearance of it is not bad at all. After installing I pushed on it hard to make sure the malarial would not rip or give, to my surprise it is solid.

We needed something for our landing which has two railings. Even though this is plastic, it actually looks okay indoors (and I tend to be picky about aesthetics). Our railings are white which helps (since this is clear/white) but I think it would look okay even with wood colored railings.

It seems very durable and climb-proof as long as you install it nice and taut.

One note: Be careful when using the plastic ties at the END of the mesh. If you pull too hard, you can pop the little holes in the mesh (as I did). No big deal cuz I just used the next hole and another tie... but figured I'd keep you from making my mistake.

The mesh was also easy to cut to size with a typical household scissors.

I bought this for my daughter and son-in-law to use in their home and they are delighted with it. The installed it indoors and are very satisfied with it.

We have it on our balcony, it's been great. Our toddler can't through his toys down anymore and I feel more comfortable knowing he won't stick his head our arms-legs out the rails. Our balcony rails didn't allow easy installation, we needed to make different cuts and ended up using staples to hold the mesh up and make it stretch out better. But it works great now.

This is a great product, it gave our family comfort in knowing our daughter was safe...and will not be able to stick her head, arm or body any place it does not belong. We have actually used this indoors and it looks fine.

The deck guard is very sturdy and my little climber can't climb it! I also liked the fact that it gives us a little bit of privacy because it's kind of like a screen from the outside. My only wish is that I could order it by the foot. I only need about 4 more feet, but it only comes in rolls of 16 feet.
