The Hopscotch Mat is great, our daughter caught on right away and had fun. I thought the mat (being synthetic materials) might have a chemical odor, but it does not (and I am highly sensitive to this sort of thing). I also thought it might not roll out flat having been shipped rolled up, but it lay flat from the start. One thing I would add to it would be a storage bag, but that is a minor issue.

My granddaughter of 4 took to this mat immediately due to the bright colors. She has been getting interested in hop-scotch and as soon as we rolled out the mat, she was on it, as was her 2 year old brother. The mat is well constructed and should last for a very long time. It adds another indoor play item without getting in the way--it just lays there!

This hopscotch mat is terrific! I bought it for my 3-year-old who loves hopscotch. I thought this would be great for her to play with inside on rainy days. It's been out on the living room floor since it arrived, even though it hasn't even rained yet! My 8 and 10-year-olds love playing hopscotch with their little sister, as well. It is easy to use and easy to store, just roll it up and stick it in the closet.

Purchased for an afterschool program. Kids love it. Only issue is that on smooth surfaces, the carpet slides and we had some kids take a fall. We backed the mat with an carpet anti-slip mat [purchased at a deep discount store] and now it is great. Great for balance, waiting turns, challenges etc.
