We purchased this for vacation for our 2.5 yr old who likes to walk half the time and ride in the stroller the other half of the time. When she walked we told her she could wear the harness or hold a hand. She wore it for a bit, but opted to hold our hands which was just as good for us. Prior to this purchase, she would hassle us on hand holding and run off. So it was a great alternative to have while we were at the zoo and museum, etc.

Since we were traveling international, we needed something to help our "little man" walk on his own. He actually enjoyed the "freedom" to get "so far" because he was helping Mommy and Daddy. We used it often during our trip.

We live in the country and are very oudoors people. we use it from shopping to hiking in the woods. This keeps our son close to us and we are able to keep him away from things outside.

I bought this recently because I am going to be flying with my 16 month old, and wanted him to be able to run in the airport, without me having to bend over and hold his hand. The product will work fine for that. I did have to unhook the straps and put them through the buckles the correct way, they had been put thru upside down. And I wish that the back strap had a buckle to shorten and lengthen it. It is too long for my son, who is big for his age, and it hits him in the head. Would also be nice if the straps were softer, they are not too comfy on the sides of his neck. Just haven't found too many products like this, so I guess it will work.

This worked fine, just as expected for something fairly inexpensive. It does ride up under my son's armpits but it doesn't seem to bother him. We use it occasionally, only for situations like in busy stores or at the airport, when he does not like his stroller and where he wants to run, run, run, away from mom and dad. For active antsy children this is a must for safety. But if I were going to use it frequently the backpack ones might be more comfortable. However, I don't see this stage of toddlerhood lasting that long.

These are the best thing...I have a 14 year old, 2.5 year old and a 5month old..I purchased the harness when my oldest was 1 and traveled lots with him and his little cousin so these came in handy in big airports, shoppen and just goin for a walk. This is the one item I never gave away when my oldest was done with it..and today I use it on my 2.5 year old!

I used the product at the mall. It is nice because the baby can have independence, and not get out of our reach. I only had a chance to use it a couple times so far.

We sent the Kid Keeper back. As another had received it, the buckles were put together backwards. Once we got it on, my 2 year old enjoyed wearing it around the house. But after 10 min. I could see the straps that go over the shoulder were rubbing his neck. No adjustment seemed to help.

My son hated this on the get go. It IS well made though a little confusing how to put it on at first. I have to work with him a bit more to get him used to it, so I am hoping it will be better. He is a runner and loves his freedom at 2 which makes being in crowded places a challenge. I am hoping by the time we leave for Disney, he will be more comfortable with it. Moms and Dads, don't give up.. keep trying and if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. Better to have tried than not tried at all.

The Kid Keeper is great. This is our 2nd one we have bought. My oldest used it so much we had to buy a new one for our 14 month old. My oldest always thought he was telling us where to go because it was attached to our pants and not to our hand. We are very big travels and being in an international airport can be crazy and scary. I never had to worry about my son wondering off. This is the best product.

18 month old is so active we can never keep up with him. He gets out into the street and climbs on things that could hurt him. This helps me keep track of him and out of trouble. Thanks,

My family spent the weekend in NYC, need I say anymore? It allowed us to thoroughly enjoy walking in the crowds, taking the subway, spending time at Rockafellar Center and window looking. My niece pretended she was a dog, my nephew had a hard time at first, but eventually got used to it. We were getting compliments from strangers all weekend long about how smart we were! Even with 15 of us, it gave us the added peace of mind, our children were safe!

This child harness system seemed like a good product until it arrived. First, whoever put it together needs glasses. The straps had been put in wrong side out, so I had to take it apart & put it back together correctly. Then, once I put it on my son, no amount of adjusting keeps the things from riding up under his armpits & pulling up to the top of his chest. This was a definite waste of money!
