Seemed like a great idea. Works fine with have one issue. We have leather seats and the foam backing on the protector stuck to the seat and peels the leather finish off. Not happy about that. If you have cloth seats I'd say this is a good enough product.

This is great for protecting your leather seats. It covers the bottom of the seat, all the way up the back! PERFECT!

It fits my minivan seats, and is easy to install/ move when we switch to another car. It protects the seat from "dents" in the leather much better than what I was using before, and it protects the seat from dirt and things that the baby drops. The pockets in front are also very useful for toys, wipes, etc.

This is the third time I have purchased this seat cover and I still think it is the best available- it is the third time I purchased it because we now have three car seats! I originally purchased this protector because it was thick and would keep our daughter's car seats from ruining the leather in our then-new minivan. It has nearly eliminated the indentation from the car seats on the leather seats. The protector is tall enough to cover and protect the back of the captain-style seats from indentations, too. When the seat and protector are removed, you cannot tell that there had been a huge convertible car seat installed. The front of the cover is designed to hang over the front edge of the seat and this has been a godsend during the winter when boots are covered with road salt and sand. The cover also does a great job of keeping snack crumbs from falling between the seat cracks. It is easy to wipe clean and installation is a snap. I have recommended this cover to both family and friends as it is both a high quality and very reasonably priced product.

I like the product and it goes up the back of the seat which is nice. It seems to stay in place well. It blocks the seat belt latch somewhat so my son gets frustrated once in awhile but I would buy it again.

I bought this in 2004 to put in a new SUV for my son's car seat. We just traded that vehicle in and there were NO indentions under the seat after 6 yrs. We are now using it in a Mini-Van with leather seats. It works great to keep the seat from sliding around. I am now getting another one for my daughter!

I got this to protect the leather seats in my new car from indentations. My Britax Boulevard car seat is heavy and when you add my sons weight it left marks on the seats. So far this has worked great. The original indentation marks seem to have gone away. It has been well worth it.

This is the second one we have purchased. One is in my SUV the other is now in my husbands quad-cab pickup. We have used it from the time our daughter was one and in a front facing carseat and now she is six. Protects the seat of the vehicle from food and liquid that might spill or be dropped. Also protects it from the rubbing of the child seat that could damage the vehicle seat.

I do really like this product my only issues are these:
1. Pockets are pretty useless for major items. anything bigger than a travel pack of Kleenex won't fit well. They used to sell clip on pockets for the car seats which worked out better, but I can't find them anymore.
2. Clean up is pretty easy until you get to the grooved areas and then you literally have to hose it down or use a toothbrush to get out gunk kiddos have stashed down there.
3. LATCH compatible....means indents in the corners for you to attempt to latch in the clips. We own a Ford Edge and a Ford Expedition, and each one has LATCH hook placement in different widths and depths in the seats you're trying to attach them to. I'm happy they put the 'cuts' in the protectors or else LATCH would be impossible, but don't go claiming it's compatible. It's LATCH friendly, that's about it.
Other than that it does keep indents out of leather and cloth seats, keeps most crumbs from getting all over (though if you have a determined boy, nothing can stop him from a mess) and goes pretty well with every interior color.

This is a necessary for keeping the interior in your car nice - let's face it, our kids will not be in car seats their entire lives. So, we don't want to have the 'permanent' indentations and wear and tear to remain in our cars long after they are out of their car seats. This is a valuable and well-worthwhile purchase for any parent.

Protects the seat from spills and crumbs but not so sure it protects against leather indentations which is why I bought it.

This product is light, easy to manage and lasts well. Pockets are handy for keeping sunglasses or small toys. Keeps most messes from hitting the seat.
