These pads are designed to line underwear while potty training and to turn cold when a child has an accident.

First off, the pads are way too thick for toddlers---I haven't seen pads this thick in decades! If they have thinner pads for grown women, I can't imagine why these have to be this hefty.

More importantly, these didn't help my son with accidents at all. He completely ignored them. Apparently he did feel them grow cold, but the sensation was not enough to interrupt his play.

So if you have a stubborn kid and are considering these as a potty training aid, think again. They are useless and uncomfortable.

Tired of cleaning out soiled big boy and girl pants? This is a great alternative. Pull-ups will hold more and leak less but your child may not realise they've gone or not care because the Pull-up does an effective job of protecting them from the icky feeling.

One of the reviewers below complained the pad leaked overnight. Again, they aren't meant to substitute a pull-up or a diaper. It is a bit like the old school training pants - only holds a bit and they feel wet so that your child will know that they've gone to the bathroom AND be uncomfortable. (Only no scrubbing after a BM accident, YAYE!) If your child is the sort to sleep straight through a bed-wetting OR still having major overnight accidents - you should probably stick to pull-ups in the evening. (The picture of the girls slumber party is a bit misleading.)

Awesome when travelling. Great help with incentive - able to move to the big kid pants/panties sooner.

This is a great product. I was using pullups for my 2 year old for a very short while before he started potty training. He HATED them because they were scratchy. He liked the PODS and felt like a "big boy" because he could wear his underwear. I thought I might as well utilize the underwear I bought for him and quit spending money on the expensive pullups. These were easy to stick in and easy to change in a public bathroom without having to take his pants all the way down like with the pullups and have his clothes touch the icky bathroom floor. These are great for when they are starting to get the hang of going potty but when you are out in public you don't know if you can find a bathroom or get them there in time!

It is like a big super thick sanitary napkin. Not worth the money. Use a sanitary pad instead. It is to thick for the child to use, if the idea is for the kid to not notice something in his underwear.

I bought these for my 4 year old who sometimes has accidents when she takes a nap. My daughter is a very heavy sleeper. She usually wears pull-up when she sleeps but I decided to try these. Not only did they leak but all her clothes were soaked too.

My 4 year old still struggles with overnight potty training. These have enabled us to give up the diapers and still avoid the unpleasant wet bed incidents. They hold just enough to both give her comfort and allow her to be aware of her release.

My daughter is developmentally delayed and has occasional accidents, especially when distracted.
These pads are perfect for "just in case". She's too big for pull ups and doesn't need that much protection. I'm glad I found such a great product.

I used these last year to train my son and they worked very quickly - he didn't like them much but thats the point. I am glad you sell them as my daughter is now at the same stage and I could not find them anywhere. I agree they do not turn cold enough but then again that is a pretty sensitive area so I think its adequate. I also think they work best when your child has a pretty good understanding that he needs to be using the potty but just wont do it.
