At first I thought these were great but then my child turned 1 year old and could easily pull these out of the socket without much effort. (I have about 14 of these installed.) Then she tried putting them in her mouth and if I happen to not notice I can see how she could choke on these! Not recommended! You need outlet caps that STAY in place and are difficult to remove (even for adults). These don't fit the bill and aren't safe at all.

My 15-month-old figured out how to remove these outlet plugs from the outlets. Thus, I do NOT recommend this product!

After reading the reviews on this product, I thought this would be the best outlet cover to purchase. Unfortunately, as my baby started pulling herself up and leaning against the wall, I found that the piece sticking out was more of a hazard. I was very concerned that she might slip and hit/scrape her face against it. I believe it's better for the cover to be flat against the wall. Although it would be difficult for a child to pull out, I also didn't find that it was that much easier for me to remove. I would recommend the press and pull plug cover from safety 1st instead, which serves both purposes really well.

So I bought the cheap outlet covers for 1/2 of my house and when I needed more, and I reluctantly bought these (more expensive but the others were out of stock). Let me tell you -- I wish I would have bought these in the first place. The cheapy ones are tremedously difficult to remove after they've been in a few days...each time I tried to remove the cheapy ones, I'd get those awful cuts under my nails (and I have short nails) and still have to use a knife to remove the covers. BUT these covers have handle that make removal by an adult a breeze.

This is even hard for me to remove so I think it totally meets the purpose. I know my outlets are covered and my 7 months old baby is safe :)

these are a definite must for crawlers. they are very difficult to pull off but i guess that's better than it being the other way around.

I can't pull these out no matter how hard I squeeze. I have to use my fingernails like the cheaper version.

These outlet covers are great! They are so much easier to get off and on then the ones with a flat surface. You don't need a sharp object to take them off. Just squeeze and pull!

Finally, an outlet cover that you can actually remove when you want to use the outlet! I have wasted money on safety 1st covers that get stuck in my outlets that I need a knife to remove. These ones are must-haves. They're still too tough for kids to remove, but adults won't have a problem. Thank you, thank you!
