We bought this to keep our son from pulling on the internet cords that ran along the wall. In theory the product is great. Overall, the construction is sturdy and easy to use. However, it won't stay stuck to the wall. Also, the little tabs of what appears to be a version of double-sided tape are hard to get apart and apply correctly.

My son LOVES cords and wires. And this amazing invention makes it as if they are not even there. I put it up, and he has never even touched it. It blends so well with our white baseboards. The only complaint is that the adhesive provided doesn't work. But a little strapping tape has them securely in place without killing my paint. I would get these again, even though they were pricey.

These things are great for concealing cords and keeping them neat and tidy. They blend right in to your baseboards if they're white. The only problem was the stickers that are included to attach the wire guards to the baseboards don't work, even after letting them settle as instructed. I ended up using double-sided sticky foam-squares and now the wire guards stay put.

Love the idea, and love the look (though I wish there was an "L" shape to run vertically from the outlet down to the baseboard and then horizontally along baseboard), but the adhesive lasted exactly 15 minutes. I followed instructions and cleaned the wall, but my 9-month-old twins pulled it right off, no problem. Very disappointing.

They stayed attached for approximately 24 hours, my 9 month old was able to remove them after that time. The adhesive does not maintain itself. Used to much better products from this website. Does not even deserve one star

This looks great, people don't even notice them until I talk about them. They girls don't notice them either, which means they don't even try to mess with them. They hold 3 thick wires (like my cable wire). The adhesive it weak though, so I just used the adhesive to hold it on the wall long enough to use the drill and a screw it onto the wall. Not a bad thing, this reinforces the purpose of the gaurds. The only thing I don't like is that they are so short in length and so I had to buy app. $35 worth of them to go across one wall!!!!

We use these to hide cords from our welcome lights in the windows. They work great, easy to use and blended well with the base boards.

We had some ugly wires crossing the living room next to the baseboard. Our child doesn't actually bother them, but they are very ugly. I saw this and decided to try it. It's a good product, and I intend to order a couple more...but I really wish these were longer (for the price, esp). It's just some cheap plastic for the most part so I don't see why it costs what it does. Yet, I will order more. This blends in so well against our white baseboard that you have to look carefully for it in the picture - which is the desired outcome, of course!

Tried to put some speaker cables that go along the wall through here and stick to the baseboard. Did not stick at all. Going to try my own tape and hope it works better.

I bought this to hide the cable cords in our living room from our ever-curious 10-month-old. I installed them exactly according to the directions - cleaned the baseboards and everything. They stayed put for about 24 hours before they fell off, after which my son enjoyed yanking on them. They would work great if the adhesive was stronger. I like the way they open and how they look. In the end, I found a much more effective product that does the same thing, sticks better and can easily be cut to fit. It was also much less expensive per foot than these.

the double sided tape did not hold but once we put a longer strip of the durable double sided tape it looks great, no bulky wires showing under the desk for the kids to grab

I ordered a bunch of these and they do agreat job of hiding the wires. There are no other items like this that I have found. My son just loved grabbing exposed cords. I used them in conjunction with the Safety Firt outlet covers for my 8 month olds room and a few other rooms he often plays in. They work great and are easy to use. You need to follow the instructions carefully when glueing to wall with supplied tape. Even so, I've had a few fall off and had to retape (they don't give you extra tape) and in my son's room, they would not stick at all, not sure if it's the paint of it there was a slight curve in the wall, but I drilled and screwed these into the drywall with drywall anchors and they are bomber and will never go anywhere. I think they should be predrilled for this application. Patching and painting drywall holes in a few years is easy. I also used a hacksaw and cut some 45 degree angles into them for applications of running wires down from outlet cover and then along baseboard. These are not easily cut, but do sand down well for custom fits.

This does not blend with my baseboards at all- it just stuck out, which wouldn't have been so bad if it stuck to my baseboard or wall. The adhesive did not hold this to anything, and the cord holder just dangled on the cord, giving my crawler one more thing to grab onto.
