I have two small Papillon dogs and use this gate between my atrium and garage. Most baby gates have bars too far apart, for my smallest Papillon, not to squeeze though. She is under four pounds. I was thrilled to find this, see through, no bars, baby or pet gate. I also liked that it is weather proof.

I had repair people here, when it arrived and they installed it for me, in minutes.

What worried me most was my weak arthritis hands. Would the gate be easy for me to open? YES,it certainly is very easy for me to operate but I can tell a child could not open it and of course my dogs can't. I couldn't be more pleased and will tell all my dog owners about this gate, especially for little dogs but it would work for larger dogs too. It is very sturdy.

These gates are great! We have two. We were looking for something that was wider than the more traditional metal gates and that didn't have something to step (trip!) over on the floor. These swing wide, which works in our situation. My husband installed some wood molding to the wall at the studs and attached the gates to the wood. These are used as swing gates only (not pressure mounted). They do not close on their own like some other gates do, but I prefer this. We have one at the bottom of the stairs and one at the hallway to another part of our house. It isn't designed to swing both ways, but it can be forced past the stopper with a little effort. The latch is easy to open and close with one hand by squeezing with your thumb.

I am helping to raise 4 grandsons. 16 months, 4, 6, and 8. The gates are positioned in my family room and above the stairs. The gates are easy enough for the 4 year old to open and close by himself. The fact that the gates are see through help me to see what is going on as well as the baby to see that I am still here!

I use mine for the top of stairs it works great. My husband had to remove base board so it would install/mount properly. After he figured it out, it moves over the rug freely and smooth. I always receive compliments on the way it looks. It is one hand open, but you'll hear a little snap noise. If there is a sleepy baby you'll learn how to operate with out noise. It is slightly hard to open, but I like that so most older clever toddlers still can't squeeze that tight. My daughter loves playing kissy face and peek a boo through the clear panel so much fun for us. We have two other gates and this is our favorite. She is a climber and so far hasn't figured out how, but working at it. Scary not all kids are the same, but I believe she could climb after time. My daughter is now 14 months

We bought this to use at the bottom of our staircase because it is labeled as adjustable for moldings. However, the manufacturer only provides wall mount adjustments for up to 13/16 of an inch. Our molding is 1 inch wide and the manufacturer said we will not be able to use it because they have only tested the spacers provided for adjustment up to 13/16 of an inch.

We needed a solution for the top of our stairs and hoped for a gate that was attractive, but nice and sturdy for our little tornado baby and this is it! We wall mounted it (as required for stair-top installation) and the only trouble we had was our baseboard trim. If your trim is very wide, it does not need to be removed, but ours was only 2 inches tall and the gate could not be installed through it, so we had to remove the trim. Now that it is up, we LOVE it! It closes very securely and the baby can't budge it. We also like the simple, clean look of the gate and guests have complimented us on the appearance. We highly recommend this as a great safety gate to use either pressure-mounted or installed with the hinge.

i installed this gate including the swing gate hardware in 10 mins. i works just as described. i do not know about children but it sure makes taking care of our pet rabbit easy. we love it.

I bought this gate for the top of our stairs since my son's room is on the second level. He is 15 months and as he gets older I know he will become even more active and climb. This gate appealed to me because there is no 'bottom bar' that you'd have to step over when the gate was open and there are not any horizontal bars. I knew if there were bars on the gate that would promote toys of all shapes and sizes being squeezed through and tossed down the stairs for fun. It has been working perfectly! Now I feel like my son is completely safe if he is upstairs playing while I am on the lower level, because of the clear safety gate.

I love how easy this gate it. I returned 3 different types of gates to the stores and I have found a keeper. The only thing that I am not completely happy with is that when we close the gate the stopper on the bottom spins out sometimes just enough where it wont close all the way. We just have to give it a twist to make it fit. My daughter cant climb on it but she can still see me in the kitchen. Best walk through gate ever.

We use this product to keep our beginning crawler off the kitchen tiles. It is great because she can see us from the living room while we are busy in the kitchen, and we can see her too. We love the "see-trough" window. Also, the fact that our nieces and nephews can't climb over it is also a great feature that will come in handy when our daughter begins to pull-up and climb.

Great gate! I now have 3 of them. Great for the top of the stairs, bedroom and kitchen. I have them all mounted and hinged. Keeps kids in or out and allows them to see through.

I bought this gate b/c I saw the reviews of parents who said their children could not climb the gate. However, my daughter quickly figured out how to climb this gate! Also, the gate does not grip the doorframe well, and no matter how tight I adjusted the gate, it would slip right out of the doorframe when pulled or pushed. It is also a little cumbersome to use as a pressure mounted gate b/c of the extra safety tabs that you have to snap into place to lock it. I am returning this gate!
