I HAVE A 15 MONTH OLD, WE WERE FLYING FOR THE 1ST TIME AND THOUGHT THIS PRODUCT WOULD BE GOOD TO KEEP HR EARS FROM POPPING. SHE HAD THEM OUT BEFORE THE PLANE EVEN TOOK OFF SO THEY WERE A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

We got these for our trip to Walt Disney World. As I was doing my research I read that a lot of rides were frightening to small children because they were loud. After using them for a few times my son started to ask for them. They will now be a permanently in my purse, for movies, nap times, anything!

My 3.5 year old complained about them being in. She did have a slight pain on one of our decents, but only for a second. Who knows? Could have been worse without them. Only now, she associates them with what caused her ear pain.

I used this product for myself. I have trouble getting my ears to pop on airplanes (chewing gum, drinking water, yawning etc...do not work for me). I was planning on flying with my infant and needed to be free to concentrate on him rather than dealing with my ears. I used the child size (b/c my ears are really small) and they worked really well. It took me a little while to figure out just how far to put them in my ears, but once I figured it out I was good to go. They still work if you take them out and put them back in, so even if a child pulls them out multiple times, it still can be effective. Of course, you feel the pain when you pull them out!

I have used these several times. My 15 month old did pull them out of her ears on our last trip. While she was sleeping, I was able to replace them and they worked great! As an infant, they worked wonderful!

I was taking the kids on the plane for the fist time. I often have problems myself with my ears so i thouht how perfect, but i was wrong. my kids of age 1 and 2 would not keep them in thier ears at all. The second i put them in they would take them out and throw them. I too tryed them. I thought they didn't work at all.

Our oldest son (age 6) suffers terribly from ear pain everytime we take a plane trip. We tried this product on our latest trip. On the first flight, we put the plugs into his ears about 15 min before landing, and it didn't work. He still complained and cried in pain. On the return flight, we inserted at least an hour before landing, as instructed by the manufacturer. It seemed to work. For the first time ever, He didn't cry in pain as we descended. I guess the key is to put them in one hour before landing and making sure they are firmly inserted.
