The concept of this product is great. Unfortunately the construction is poor. The pieces kept coming apart when I tried to wind up the cord. When I finally set them into place, they fell off the first time a strong wind gust came through the window.

Its a great idea and once you put it on it does serve its purpose but it is quick to fall off. When you go to lower the blinds and if you pull the cord the wrong way...it just pops off and you have to start all over again. I have had to rewrap the string so many times, I'm sick of using it.

We bought these and place it for our living room's blind's cord. It was pretty difficult to install. In the end, I rolled it first before covering it up. It serves the purpose, but if accidentally we accidentally pulled below the cover, the whole thing will pop open and we have to rewind it again.

The windows in our family room are pretty tall, and I've got these wind-ups on all of the cords for the shades. Unfortunately, they barely make a dent in how much cord is hidden and my son can easily reach what is dangling. They are also tricky to wind up (seems like they wouldn't be, right?) and can easily pop off if pulled in just the right way. However, we do have some of these on the blinds in the bedrooms, and they do a better job because of the shorter cords. I'm not sure they are worth the money.

They were easy to install and they look great on our white wooden blinds. My husband actually said they look better on the blinds than with the strings hanging down. My son was crawling up on the couch and yanking the cords to the blinds as hard as he could - now, we have no worries! Love them!

The cord wind up is a very good idea, but you have to pull gently on the cord to raise the blinds, if you pull to hard the string comes out.

These work fairly well for getting the cords out of the way, but I find that they do pop off rather easily if you pull the cord the wrong way (this seems to happen a lot to my husband). Generally, you need to decide whether you want to blind up or down and then adjust, so I tend to adjust the blinds several times a day. They work, but they are a little annoying.
